When there was a break in the almost continuous roar of traffic I could here the blackbird and smaller birds twittering and singing. Also my parrot in the magnolia tree going la-la-la-cough-cough-woof.

I studied Media at Sunderland uni (undergrad and Masters, bitches!!) in the late 90's/early 2000's and am currently in lockdown in NZ with an old housemate and coursemate, who's on holiday from the UK and having a rather extended stay.

 

One of the short films we made as coursework featured a couple of 'actors' who went on to headline act this most excellent film (which I STRESS I had nothing whatsoever to do with):

Took the dogs outside this morning and the 3 brightest objects in the sky are all in a line; 4 planets are all lined up.

Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. Pluto is there hiding behind Jupiter but you'd need a telescope to see it.

Plus, I'm really impressed with this phone. That's just holding the thing up and snapping a picture, camera held in hand.
