A couple of guard terriers resting on the dash of a van on the industrial estate,

Does that not belong on a certain other forum? :D

I can't work out what has happened there, it looks like someone has wrapped the rope around the bonnet and tried to tow it, but surely that can't be it.

Looking at the way the bonnet is deformed and pulled outwards, I think it's exactly that. :D

I'd rather drink drive into a wall.

"Look mate, it's perfectly straightforward - black bin every second Wednesday, blue bin every third Friday, brown bin every fourth Tuesday, and fucked Hillmans every fifth Monday. It's hardly fucking rocket science, is it? Now shove it round the back pronto or I'll have to fine you."

Just taken the mutt round the block (he insists even if it is raining!) and some bugger has pinched the front number plate from the XJ-S! Bolts, nuts the lot. It was there yesterday and the car hasn't moved in a week.

Report it ASAP and get a crime number...it’ll make life easier when the inevitable parking tickets/accusations of bilking etc land at your door

Any company or thing that uses Alexei Sayle’s face for some sort of promotion is the best kind of company or thing. Can I have dibs on that cardboard cut out if nobody wants it, please?

Watched a programme on travel channel about a motorbike road trips. This was Sydney to Melbourne, where he met a bike group whose motto was 'what could possibly go wrong ' and rule was if someone is selling a bike, any other member of the group had to buy it.

Seems remarkably similar!

Thought I'd spice up my cream of veg cup a soup a bit. Bought a jar of a ground shrimp, chili and other stuff from Ghana. Obtained in Tesco. I last had some a couple of years ago and it is ace. Tasty and quite spicy. Lumped a teaspoon full into the soup, quick stir, yummy. Numb lips, runny nose...... excellent.

The name of said product?

Shito

Indeed.

There's building work going on in one of the houses my grandad and his brothers built after the Second World War, just had a message to say when they lifted the kitchen floor they found a measuring tape and another tool sat on the dwarf wall, both a little rusty but still usable and marked made in Sheffield, I don't know whose they were but I would like to think they originally belonged to him, they have been put on one side for me.

For some reason this made me think of an anecdote my mum likes to tell - until she was about 15 she thought her uncle Stanley had had his name embossed on his knife.

First bash at Bricklaying, I don’t think I’ve done too bad there... Before you ask, yes I did put a foundation down.
