Steve Wright's last show on R2 today, and (you'll never believe this)

'Wright repeatedly said there would be no self-indulgence but his audience hadn’t got the memo, sending in gushing messages of gratitude.'

It is. But is worth it as it saves a lot of money to do it this way.

Dynamite is handy for that sort of thing :)

Not when you have to carefully fill around a septic tank without destroying it.

But making a hole is something else just a shame it's so hard to get hold of.

Very NSFW and contains naughty words, but very funny.

How many takes it took to film I have no idea but the "robot" keeping her face straight is brilliant.

Steve Wright has always been totally shit. I listened to radio two for 25 years at work and when driving. When Zoey Ball joined a few years back enough was enough. I reckon she's permanently on drugs or pissed. I've changed to radio six and have never looked back.

All commercial stations can get in the sea.

Is he the same one as was on Metro  radio (Swallwell)?

I went there with a photographer I worked with and SW came over as a complete arrogant, self-obsessed piece of shite.

I recall him as being quite pudgy though.

My mate is absolutely fucking MULLERING this Multispaz around the Nürburg. There are even rumours of  lift off oversteer 😂

I enjoyed that. Thank you.

Strange that an American comapny chose to  use Reading Tandoori as an advert. They could have chosen a zillion places in the USA.

https://www.readingtandoori.com/

I knew this place as The Flavours of India. It was nota great place to find a decent curry in those days.

I'm batshit insane and even I wouldn't have a bloke in a morphsuit do a shit dance to promote a robot.

It's a tough life being an actor, doing a turn of interpretive dance probably beats waiting tables or bartending.

Nah, must be a different one. The SW has been at radio two for as long as I can remember.

It's the focal point. I tried to get the houses and church out of shot. I just like bins.

Definitely should be a system for getting historic wheelie bins listed, I reckon.

Mine's nearly forty years old, and still in service.

One of the nice clean and shiny wheely bins at work was eaten by the truck along with the recycling last week. I raised a note and was told they’d bring it back today. We have A green wheely bin back today, but it’s not ours! How many do they swallow up a week?

Seeing a Pug 305 on the M90 this afternoon made me grin. Amazing how small it looked beside all the new cars.

Car SOS, I don't think there's a better car show on TV

Just got Disney plus, national geographic has got up to season 9, just watched the Bedford ice cream van episode

It was basically rust so a massive job but the man hours mentioned at the end are a bit mind boggling , 2000 man hours

Even at £50 an hour that's £100k plus parts

Could have been a good show but Tim Shaw ruins it for me.
