Put my father in control of some garden machinery. Funny to see him mow the same part of the yard 3 times before taking over. It's nice to see my folks again, they have come for a short visit.

And to that I always say, if it's alcoholic, it has NO place in my food, at any stage, in even trace quantities.

If I remember correctly, Mr Floyd was the complete opposite.

He was always careful to fully taste the vino before, during and after adding it to the pan.

Nicking someone's bike (especially in London) is effectively regarded as a victimless crime; all you'll get from the police is given a crime number and told to crack on with your insurance claim. If this human refuse thought there was a danger of getting turned into pizza by a 2 ton cop car, instead of the current "pursuit too dangerous because scum not wearing helmet" the bike theft statistics would tumble within weeks.

20 years ago a guy at work had a CX500 nicked in Wigan

He rang the police

Here's your crime number

Aren't you coming out to see if they left any evidence, fingerprints

No sorry all we do is issue crime numbers for your insurance claim but if you get it back please let us know.

I guess so that they can tick the crime solved  box for statistics

Seen yesterday outside the headquarters of the Monster Raving Loony party.

It is the official transport for the parliamentary candidate for Radnorshire.

(F reg., in daily use, sounds like it needs a bit of a tune. Front seats look modern.)

Not too raving loony then. They’re not even standing round here, although BJ in Uxbridge has two bucketheads standing against him.

No, one Lord Buckethead and one ex-Buckethead, now Count Binface.

Anyway, I'll have to stop there before Ben Elton pops up.

Just finished the last of my Xmas shopping! Did all of it online this year, just got to wait for a couple of deliveries then do a bit of wrapping up and then that’s that done for another year.

A couple more weeks of work to get through then it’s a week off and food and drink time!

I think they may be to 2055 what the MkI Escort is to 2019. My 17 year old great niece thinks they are fantastic.

Always fancied a fast blast in one myself.

The house move is finally happening!

21st of December is the date I'm moving, other half will be in sooner than that because they haven't had to work around the same logistics that I have.  Look out, Kent, here I come.

I'm in Benidorm for Xmas, have enough euros to last me.

I draw my pension every week, so realised I will have 2 spare wages on my return.

So this morning spent it on a week in Fuengirola in February.

Is that, you're going to Benidorm for Xmas or you're already there?

A guy I know had one of those , somebody egged him on so he went after them on a dual carriageway ,caught them just as they went over the brow of a hill only by then the guy was braking hard

That'll be because of that roundabout then , he didn't stop , straight into it

When the police arrived they started questioning his son who had to point out the old guy sat on the wall as the driver, Rick was 70 at the time :D

Bought new jeans from eBay, MandS rejects apparently. Had a whinge the other day on here cos they don't fit - too big by miles round the waist and a lot tighter round my manly and masculine (hahahaha) thighs. However, with a belt cinched up tight round the waist they are really bloody comfortable! Stretch fit apparently and so soft on my delicate skin but yes, they look silly and a bit 'hipster' but as anyone who knows me will attest, I ain't no fashion victim!

For a penny under a tenner I don't think I have a right to complain, do I?
