  2. My Dad had one of those up until earlier this year when he sold it and bought a Passat. His ASX was actually quite a high-spec one. It had after-market Rockford-Fosgate screen stereo, a rear mounted professionally fitted base-box, and I got him some high-quality fitted rubber floor mats (not the cheap chequered crap we get here in the UK) Similar to these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256254855686 I can highly reccomend these for mats, a bit expensive but long lasting and not cheap things.
  3. These seem to be getting rare these days. At Β£710 per annum car tax I can maybe see why 72,000 miles PEUGEOT 807 EXECUTIVE AUTO - 1997cc Pezz
  4. Passat sold and off to a new home. Another quality vehicle purchased... 50 shades of beige.
  5. Looked the part but Ford saddled it with a 1.8 diesel NA donkey. If they had put a 1.8 petrol in it it might have actually been worthy of the XR badge
  6. Rowe Coaches of Nuneaton E2OWE, new in 1989 as F982HGE to Parks of Hamilton. Also ran as CEC147 with Chapel End Coaches.
  7. I actually rather liked the ones on my 940 - plain, simple with no fiddly bits to try and keep clean
  8. 16 inch Mercedes gullideckel 15 holes, OE fitment on the 190e 2.5-16 evolution 1 model.
  9. If I can get mine sounding like that I’ll be very happy! I still think the LT is great as a camper - there’s loads of space inside but you can still park it in a normal parking space - I just need it to be able to go places. I’ve got the new engine sitting in the garage, so I’m fully committed now.
  10. The biggest abuse of the word Sport is when it’s preceded by M. 218 d Active Tourer MSport Ffs!
  11. In a similar vein to the Carlton alloys, these ones from the Cavalier SR/SRi My favourite old Merc alloys are the Lorinser LO, a replica of the OE 15-hole wheels with a dished polished rim,

  13. Think the Dutch might disagree with that... πŸ˜‚
  14. Welcome to the 'rust belt'* ... *OK, so not Aberdeen πŸ™„ Cute πŸ‘ πŸš™πŸ’¨
  15. You're in the right place, this is basically a self-help group for terminal car idiots
  16. You can have Sporty Crocs though How about Yugo Sport? The real sport would be rocking up in an MG6 and dragging your hamper out of the boot. They'd love* you for that.
  17. Thank god someone finally brought this up. All vans with sport in the title. Its a van ffs. Can't have sporty clogs.
  18. Loads of ocd with all cars and works vans. Seats set just right, vents pointing in the right direction etc. Just a bit of a neat freak tbh. In terms of that ancient little twat (Austin) I'm ashamed to admit that I actually mutter to it under my breath (good lad, well done etc). I am ashamed.
