My Dad had one of those up until earlier this year when he sold it and bought a Passat. His ASX was actually quite a high-spec one. It had after-market Rockford-Fosgate screen stereo, a rear mounted professionally fitted base-box, and I got him some high-quality fitted rubber floor mats (not the cheap chequered crap we get here in the UK) Similar to these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256254855686 I can highly reccomend these for mats, a bit expensive but long lasting and not cheap things. -

Limp-wristed uses of the word 'Sport' by a manufacturer

Looked the part but Ford saddled it with a 1.8 diesel NA donkey. If they had put a 1.8 petrol in it it might have actually been worthy of the XR badge -

I actually rather liked the ones on my 940 - plain, simple with no fiddly bits to try and keep clean

If I can get mine sounding like that Iβll be very happy! I still think the LT is great as a camper - thereβs loads of space inside but you can still park it in a normal parking space - I just need it to be able to go places. Iβve got the new engine sitting in the garage, so Iβm fully committed now.

You can have Sporty Crocs though How about Yugo Sport? The real sport would be rocking up in an MG6 and dragging your hamper out of the boot. They'd love* you for that. -

Loads of ocd with all cars and works vans. Seats set just right, vents pointing in the right direction etc. Just a bit of a neat freak tbh. In terms of that ancient little twat (Austin) I'm ashamed to admit that I actually mutter to it under my breath (good lad, well done etc). I am ashamed.
