In The Pit
Isn't that Metro a car with blacked out windows rather than a Metro van? Looking at the window frames I reckon it is and I think early Metro vans before the face-lift were badged as Morris. [/anorak] Thats what I thought with regard to the windows. I think you're right about early vans being badged as Morris certainly some were as my dads friend had one that I think came from a utility company (possibly British Gas) it was blue and white and that had a Morris badge on the boot (but not a Metro one if remember right) this would have been the early 90's I was only young but thought it strange it didnt wear an Austin one, maybe it was to bring it in line with the Morris Ital van. red5
Good evening Shitersâ„¢ More fare from behind the wheel of a Fronterror ! Can't remember if I posted one of the Merc, so here it is anyway. I want it. And I don't like Mercs. The same corner as the not-a MetroVan.. Blimey. Daily it seems as well. Now, that's deffo a Punto Van. Isn't it? Oddly enough, the 'same' corner as the Merc/MetroNotAVan but the opposite side of the river. I may have stumbled on a ley line... mk2_craig
Now, that's deffo a Punto Van. Isn't it? Oddly enough, the 'same' corner as the Merc/MetroNotAVan but the opposite side of the river. I may have stumbled on a ley line... Yes definitely. The badge even says Punto Van. Though I would imagine those metal panels in place of the rear windows are detachable rather than welded? Quite a few mk1 Punto Vans around here, are they particularly rare these days on the mainland? Did they do a mk2?
red5
Old boy at the cathedral. Lovely. Fairly sure I've just won Autoshite there. One of my students drives this. Very carefully. On pain of, well, pain. Not sure...probably do want... Mostly taken from the 3.9 (sold), the 2.3 (sold) and the 2.8 (still got@151,000m). Apologies for randomness etc. laser wheels, Junkman, anonymous user and 1 other

The later ones wer epopular around these rural parts for a while. The dealer services were done by an agri engineers. vulgalour
Has anyone told Alveley Motor Homes that it's not 1996 anymore? There seems to be another time anomaly bubble around that purple Cortina which is pretty freakin' sweet. michael1703
HillmanImp
That Cortina is full on 1980's council estate spec. I love it. John F
michael t
I quite like the look of the rectangular plate stuck onto the horrible big UK one behind it, nice contrast with the yellow
Bucketeer
I sat staring at that Cortina for 10 minutes and I still can"t work out whether it's utterly hideous or possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen.I'm pretty sure that if Matchbox had made a model of it when I was a nipper I would never have discovered girls. red5
There are no words. GT II Useless trivia - parked outside my old parish church that the roof was damaged in the storm in '77. So they tried to knock the rest down and go all modern. See how that worked out... Some youth centre style round place of worship was built within the still standing old walls. it's shit. Anyway - i'll try and revisit the car....it's proper shiny. Junkman, Faker and anonymous user
