That was a fab morning!

Found @catsinthewelder, gave him his tent back and we went for a wander

Scotland and Co  arrived not long after and we followed them, then wandered back off

Was tempted to swap the Xsara for this until I looked closely and saw all the bubbling under the paint...

Did you know… Hagerty put on roving RAC men to help the less fortunate of us get home?! Irrespective of whether you’re with the RAC or not.
Also thanks to @Sunny Jim et al. for lending me tools - before the RAC spotted me and got it going.
We’re up and running and cruising down the A1. Wishing everyone a safe trip.

Had a really good day! Didn’t have a car of my own in functioning form but thanks to the prolific ‘Cheethams of Chatteris’ I was able to commandeer a rather lovely Megane saloon for the day.

Like a lovely chunky Clio. Nice and squishy, the most perfect steering wheel rake and just all round good vibes. 33k on the clock too!

Other observations. Smith and Sniff live worked well. There was a huge, intense concentration of men wearing dresses and bras, fewer YouTubers than usual, Steph whatsherface comes across even better on stage than on video, French car fanciers are even weirder than Ford ones… and autism. Everywhere. It’s like a massive celebration of it, and it’s brilliantly hilarious.

Good day - 8/10 - and still good value at the same price of a football ticket for a single person to see 90 minutes.

Didn't go for various reasons this year, although it looks like there was a good variety of old tat, glad the weather held up for everyone. :)

Reckon I'll grab some popcorn and wait for the inevitable Facebook arguments about what's unexceptional and what isn't. :D

Absolutely fantastic day, not long made it back.  Just waiting for girls to be ready before heading back out!

I think I passed you going Northbound on the A1 around Wittering this morning. Unfortunately I was not going to FotU

Any MK1 Mondy's this year pls?

There was a red saloon from memory - and a mushroom coloured hatch with what looked like an SI kit on it, but I took zero photos today. Sorry!

Yep, have to reiterate the above, fantastic day, huge selection of incredibly obscure cars and a lot of the previous years issues ironed out. A great day out.

Both car and shoe made it. Another really enjoyable Fotu. I didn't take too many pictures but here's a few I did

White Lada estate and the maroon Yugo probably my favourites from the concourse this year, although the Applejack Metro was lovely too

Indeed. Now on the ferry from Harwich to the hook of Holland as Fotu was only the first stop. The Cadillac has done brilliantly so far.

A grand day out - it's the company as well as the cars. I really enjoyed hanging out with the Scottish and Welsh Celtic Contingent - they're a different kind of special.

Good to meet @wesacosa and @rob88h too.

I didn't get many pictures but thought I'd share this one.

A good pic of car and various humans.  However, what really made me smile is the dog content.  I hope he/she enjoyed themselves!

Some brilliant pictures on this thread. Thanks to ever who has taken the time to post.

One of those shows that’s on the list.

I see some of the Youtubers are on social media justifying the cost of entry to the event. Which is fine, I can tell you EXACTLY why I'm worth my wage.  But let's not pretend anyone other than the exhibitors are doing anything for free at that show. Or that £40 is loose change to the majority of shiters.

I think the current price is about the limit of what I would pay.  The sheer size of the show and cars on display, plus the pleasant setting do make it stand out from the the other shows.  I do think they should maybe make the classics a little cheaper than the moderns just out of courtesy and also knowing they are less likely to be full of people as people want to show their own car

The earlier opening and second gate did seem to solve the queue issues which was great news

It's going to be interesting to see what they do next year. They did seem to sell the price increase as it was 10th anniversary and it was open until 7.30 but this was the only year that tickets were still available the day before the show which I think says a lot
