Seriously though, it's also overpriced. Being a 2-dr Hardtop there will be a bit of General Lee/Pontiac GTO scene tax applicable, I suppose. And yes, I know the General was a Dodge and therefore unrelated!

A grand for starters...having a laugh, surely.
Mr_Bo11ox
It does have an engine, although it doesnt look super healthy admittedly. I dont think £1000 is an obscene price for that TBH

eddyramrod
I dont think £1000 is an obscene price for that TBH We're going to have to agree to disagree on that then... Far too much work to do, and parts to source, for that kind of money. Still, having the Chevy 327 will work in its favour, as there's no problem with parts supply there! Even if they are all in America...

Jon
Anyone know what the going rate is for Morris 10s in the UK? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Morris/10/auction-349622391.htm Have been pondering the possibility of making a few beans out of exporting something back to the UK every now and then, though really I think the margins would be negligible on this one, even with a seemingly low BIN of £1902.75. Oh well!
Jon
This Fiat's quite a little beauty! Quite local, too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=349760378 Has been hanging around Trademe for a few months now, steadily getting cheaper. It's just been relisted at a £951 start price, which it didn't sell for last time, so it may be worth seeing if it gets any lower.....
barrett
I don't think Morris 10s make that much money... aren't there any 2 door Escorts you could import instead? In fact, you'de probably make more from bringing that 127 over, prices for non rusty 70s Fiats seem to be on the way up
Jon
I don't think Morris 10s make that much money... aren't there any 2 door Escorts you could import instead? Mk1 and 2 escorts are claiming scene tax over here too, mainly from the innapropriate wheel/modern seat covers brigade, even the 4 doors. Older Jaguars on the other hand are pretty cheap, though pez prices and their sheer size for sending back would probably not work out so well. Maybe some rust free parts would be a better bet, though obviously much more effort to buy and to sell on. Any ideas much appreciated though!
