Early but why not start early and break them.

Even before New Year’s Eve?

OK, mine; no car buying and also don’t idly search e bay (both sort of linked)

Buy better quality cars so I don't have to fix them at all then i can consentrate on the ones I've already got,  Or stop buying them over the phone unseen that might actually work.

I still have the proceeds from the VS raffle & a set of unused NCD, I resolve to do something with both of these things.

I agree.

Got Mondeo booked in the garage to rectify the singing front wheel bearing, other than that getting on top of a few jobs. Too much other stuff going on in various parts of life to fuck about buying and selling cars. Hopefully the cars I’ve got will be good for another year!

Do jobs on the Passat I've been putting off as it's cold and shit

Spend less, make more

My current resolution is to stop thinking about spending £6,000 on a £1,000 car. But men always have thoughts.

More Jags!

edit: make the XJR6 and XK8 as nice as possible with cheap sensible fixes/upgrades.

No change.  Keep buying, selling and roffling.

Although next year I've been informed a new kitchen is wanted.  So that might curtail things a bit.

Be the man I thought I'd be.

Get mx5 of rustiness through mot and drive the tits off it.

Replace belts on passat, continue to tart it up.

Try not to buy more stuff.

Same as last year - reduce collection size.

I expect it to go as well* as this year!

It does need doing though, nine years after moving in.  If I was being sensible I'd have saved the money by now.

Mine is to stop making new year resolutions, I always break the buggers after a few days so what's the point. Lol

Learn to drive and weld, although doing that simultaneously wouldn't work very well.

To stop looking at clapped out diesel estates

No help to you whatsoever but I thought of you when I saw an X type 2.0D estate advertised yesterday. £795 with full test. Surprisingly clean test history, no mention of the words ‘prescribed area’ on any previous tests. Advert specifically said it had no eml on or limp home bollocks.

Get into something I actually like, maybe shite maybe not. Depends how the work situation pans out.

  • Fuck the 214 off - somewhere, anywhere
  • Fleet reduction (best) or chod swappage (next best)
  • 6 first time MoT passes
  • Get a van

I suspect only numbers 2 and 4 may materialise

I have no aims for next year.  I'm not gonna make a resolution as or never happens so it'll never happen. Let's just see what happens.
