2010 Metrocab (clever given they stopped making them in 2006).  Apparently not registered until 2010.  Finished London service last month.  Last metrocab apparently.

We currently moan about the ULEZ but many taxis have been prematurely removed from the road due to a stupid and nonsensical rule that London's black cabs must have a maximum age. Nothing due to emissions or anything, just age.

My mate sent me that whilst I was eating my lunch, gutting to see at a time it's not practical to rescue. I think it's been for sale for a while at a higher price but I could be wrong.

Wow! That's the exact same as the one I got from @Stinkwheel - that's a spares paradise. Anyone close and can transport it? Not that I have space....

If anyone is local to this and can go and grab parts for me I'd be very grateful

I can already hear folk on the right of the economic spectrum saying this is what happens when you put an artificial subsidy in the market (re the Wagon)...

they don't expect to sell it for 3k, its someone else trying to see if someone wants to save a 7000 mile car from being crushed at the tax payers expenses (clearly not going to happen)

I seem to remember it had other problems (unless I'm remembering a different car) so I think it needs trawling back to check on the Facebook group. If I had to guess, it probably needs welding or something for it to get binned off after doing all the PITA mechanical bits.
