Wanted - some not too shit looking 14" wheel trims to tidy up the Wagon R please. :)

Posted

Hey gang,

I’m having a clearout of some car shite and I’m getting rid of some handbooks for various cars. All are with their wallets and other associated leaflets relevant to the car.

1x Citroen AX (1994)

1x Ford Puma (1999)

1x Renault Laguna (1995)

1x Rover 200 (1995)

1x Skoda Octavia (2002)

1x Ford Fiesta (1995 Mk3)

1x Vauxhall Corsa (1993)

1x Rover Metro (1994)

1x Vauxhall Cavalier (1994)

1x Ford Focus (2005 new shape)

1x Ford Fiesta (1998)

1x Vauxhall Astra (1999)

1x Rover 75 (2003)

1x VW Golf (1999)

1x Vauxhall Astra (2004 new shape)

1x Volvo 240 (1988)

And I have a load of old style MOT certificates from a couple of three cars.

Make me an offer on anything or everything, I just want a bit of pocket money to be honest and I know a few of these books will go to a good home on here. I’m not sure how much P&P would be? Maybe a couple of quid or something?

Thanks!

Wanted. One of these Wolfrace alloy wheels to fit Mrs Dustman's Corolla. Not sure what the width is (5.5" J?) but it's a 14" rim. We've got one that leaks air - not cracked, not leaking around the bead and not punctured, so think it's going porous.

IMG_6441.JPG

Failing that, a full set of 5 14" alloys (original equipment only) to fit 1999 Corolla 1.3 SE.

It might be easier just to get it blasted and re powdercoated than trying to find a replacement, was in a similar position a while ago. The wheel looks similar to a VW wheel so should be 4x100, that's the same as a rolla isn't it?

I have no idea what the PCD is! I did ask how much the local wheel refurb place charges - £400 for the complete set to be done. Nah thanks, could get another Corolla for that!

iPhone 5 16gb. Unlocked, working fine.

In good used condition, has had a replacement battery. Some light marks on screen but they're all on the surface of the screen protector (spare screen protectors included).

Comes in original box with charger. Does not come with sim card slot tool, I generally use a thick pin/needle.

Will be reset to factory settings.

SOLD.

2 x Garmin i3 sat navs.

One doesn't seem to work at all now. Used to work fine on batteries but now doesn't do anything. Excellent physical condition.

The other works fine on 12v power but not on batteries (damaged battery contact). Maps are quite old but are updatable via card slot.

Comes with 2 x 12v power leads, 1 x USB lead, 1 x box and instructions and a carry bag.

£15 posted withing the UK for the pair.

Anyone want a nice spot welder? Ideal for factory fresh restos and even better for super quick welding for the clueless.

Might come in useful for a goof like me.

Make,price, location of welder?

Corolla pad is 4x100.

One of these:

Was about £630 when I bought it to do the Capri, has gone uo since it seems. I also have a brand new unused pair of long reach electrodes for it (they are about £80). Looking for offers around £500 (in other words it’s yours for £450). It has had very little use and is a cracking bit of kit, especially good for small fabrication work.

Half tempted by the alloys to replace missus Moog's manky getz ones.

Any idea of offset?

when i had an alloy that went porus and leaked air, i just asked the tyre fitter guy who slapped a part worn on it to have a look, he coated the inside with some bitumeny stuff, kept it ok for a couple of years.

Posted

I'll look into that. It's got a 3 week old tyre on it, so I'll ask the chaps to take a look when I take it to have the tracking checked

Honestly no idea, soz. They're called Wolfrace Eurosport Raptor wheels, if that helps.

Offset might be on stamped on the inside of the alloys if you're lucky ... et**

Those alloys would look good* on the Wagon...

Jaguar Clutch - Pressure Plate

Anyone need a clutch for a Jag. ?   I have new one which I bought when I had the 3.8ltr S-type (1966).  It fits the earlier XJ6 models. I've had it a few years and it got damp last winter. I've subsequently wire brushed the light surface rust off but there's still the very shallowest of pitting on the surface.  It won't effect its use but I'd prefer to be straight rather than have any buyer upset with me. The accompanying photos are best I can to show you its condition

I thought I had the thrust bearing kicking around too, so I'll have a look.

The accompanying friction plate is what was in the car, and I believe had done some 7000 miles. You can have that for free with the pressure plate if it's of use.

Let me know if it's of interest and I'll check out the price new ..and halve it.  That plus whatever MyHermes charges to deliver it to you doorstep has got to be a winner.  Otherwise to collect from Ipswich, Suffolk, IP2 8SA

Thanks,

Bfg

I've been clearing out the box room and found more stuff from previous cars.

First up, a pair of front fog lights for a phase 3 Peugeot 306. One has a lens, the other doesn't and I think one of the mounting lugs on that one is broken, but both could possibly be used. The one with lens and intact mounting lugs is definitely in very good condition though.
