when you finally get a job you like

local tesco working on the home deliveries to driving the van and no 2 days are the same, and i absolutely love it!

reasonable pay, not a difficult job and only as stresssful as you make it

fellow colleagues are lovely, and my boss is a fantastic guy

must also admit the 2019 sprinters are lovely vans to drive

This is what was showing for me followed by ZZ TOP. I'd prefer to listen to this round Morrison's than the Christmas shit

I mean the theory is there... I guess I'm missing loads of reasons why that's unsafe but if built properly...

These things can be made for less. There is loads of info. around. But like you I would not have the confidence to put myself and car on a tipping point.

These flipping monoliths  are out of control.

The tin man requires more fibre in his diet. Would have needed to stand up to get off that.

I'm no expert but....

1. Each ramp doesn't appear to be connected to each other. Obviously for different wheel base widths.

2. Don't appear to be connected to the floor. Possibly to allow movement in width and location.

3. The floor is ****ing patio paving slabs, possible uneven load point.

4. The thing appears to be made from crap old pallet racking and mechano.

Doesn't look strong enough box section etc. The end stops on the ramp don't look sufficient.

In theory I've seen these done and done well before. (This isn't one)

Like I say I'm no expert but everything I've ever learned about elf and safety screams no.

Youve looked more closely than I have! It's the sickening few seconds as you pivot in the air, slamming the front end down with 2 tons of middle aged hatchback towards the ground that I wouldn't like,, same feeling I get putting the car up on ramps on one end, that limbo where the wheels are either perfectly fine, or half hanging off, the only way to check being to get out of the car...

It's the fact that when 2 tonnes of middle aged hatchback does slam down it lands on a couple of (apparently unbraced) sticks which would worry me the most.

Poor Xsara! 33 miles in the last month then 190 in a day! Need to get the rear tyres changed and balanced though, over 70 and everything just gets blurred with the vibrations. Brakes work well too after a near full oh fuck stoppo on the m5 due to an utter dickhead trying to cut across to a junction... Luckily my arse was working too (and my prop didn't get damaged)

I got to drive through the Black Country Museum too. And be on TV... Better writeup in my thread in the open forum, but what a wicked day!

I think it’s a very clever design. I’ve registered an interest ( in the hope of a test drive ). Useful for cities for those that can’t cycle.

Yes, it is genuine, one of several well known photos in Saab circles (includes another of a 900 with a VERY large tree on it.

As an aside, back in the day, the Saab 99 was the only production car approved by the FIA for rallying without a roll cage. The 900 (which is basically the same shell) had the A post pillars weakened so it could get better crash test results.

I will go and find my anorak now......
