I ordered some stuff for the Mrs from the Boots website a while ago. 30 minutes later I noticed an email in my spam folder from someone from the Boots team, titled 'Share your feedback and receive a free fragrance'

The grin is that the sender's name was aacon from aalucky.com.

Just back from the funeral of an old friend, with whom I had almost lost contact. I'm not grinning about that. 

 

However I am grinning about the memories it brought back and reconnecting with other friends at the funeral and wake. We've made plans to meet up soon, and I couldn't be happier about that

Had a cracking weekend at a festival, the mrs filmed them doing this for me to upload here but the version that the band put online is far better quality.

I'm involved with a church / community centre and saw that Crown/Wickes have a community support program which will provide upto £100 worth of paint, so i applied and forgot all about it, got a message a week or so back to say been accepted and go to my Local Crown centre to collect......

 

this is one half. I'd already put the other half in the car... 155 litres of u specified blue paint, in silk emulsion...

I've got a couple of feature walls to paint, 3 tins would of seen it done easy....

After months and months and months of hard graft, and life throwing all manner of obstacles at me, I finally put seam sealant on the undercarriage of the Princess today.  Feels good to get to this point, everything is easier from now on.  Except it doesn't feel entirely good because I overdid it so tomorrow is very much a rest day.  Still hasn't dampened my spirits, proof yet again that bloody mindedness is the only way to get through a project and what a project this has been, my goodness.
