LightBulbFun Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Oh and many thanks for the lightbulb @Six-cylinder/ @Mrs6C Tis a miniature prefocus 6V 25W 25W dual filament bulb I think for use in the head lamp of a motorcycle or something such from what I could see when I tried and failed to unwrap it at the FoD it looked like a Dual filament stop and tail lamp, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this more unusual lamp when I unwrapped it today Six-cylinder, Bear, Mrs6C and 1 other 4

AnthonyG Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 The theme tune competition certainly bought back memories. I got The Streets of San Francisco but totally missed It’ll be Alright on the Night! To prepare for the next one, you just have to watch ITV4 & Talking Pictures TV 24/7 for about three months. This is how @MondeoBlues did so well despite his comparative youth. davidfowler2000 and MondeoBlues 2

High Jetter Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Sorry, I don't know if you're driver or prisoner? Is there evidence of this 'arse pounding?' (sorry mrs6C)
catsinthewelder Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Sorry @MondeoBlues , I didn't realise you'd sat down or I'd have hit that bump a bit slower 😯 Ace pictures @Inspector Morose and @Six-cylinder MondeoBlues and Inspector Morose 2
High Jetter Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Duh, taken a while but think I figured it out now. It'll be alright, on the night. Allegedly.

Maybe for the next round, you could sing the theme tunes, which would make them far more difficult to guess if singing ability isn't anything to write home about.... eddyramrod 1

Six-cylinder Posted July 17, 2021 Author Posted July 17, 2021 What a snub! I used the Sovereign S2 to visit Stoke Mandeville Hospital and in car park C it scans your reg on the way in, you type your reg into a machine before you leave and pay. Then the barrier will lift for you automatically. The machine said "License Plate Not Found" Coprolalia, Mrs6C, N19 and 1 other 2 2

Six-cylinder Posted July 17, 2021 Author Posted July 17, 2021 Saturday 31st July Evening @mat_the_cat is camping in the FoD for an event at Silverstone. My thought is does anybody else want to come over for an evening talking car rubbish? If the weather is with us we can light the garden fire basket. There is plenty of room for camping if anybody else wants to stay over. chaseracer, mat_the_cat, richardmorris and 1 other 3 1

N19 Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 The car park in St Albans doesn't properly read the Capri's numberplate, but it at least consistently mis-reads it so I can work around it. Not accepting old numberplates is odd, since some will be used as private plates by the SUV brigade, and a regex for numberplates is probably flying around online somewhere. See also: telephone numbers either incorrectly formatted or incorrectly rejected. Niche use cases but not difficult to sort.
beko1987 Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 My L reg zx never had its numberplate read in the car parks in Marlow I used to use... Amazing how often I only stayed for 10 minutes/50p... Cookiesouwest and N19 1 1
