Was the Oxbridge victim of a previous collapse, before the probate demolishing team moved in?

Yep the building had a fire 3/4 years ago and the council are clearing the site. The guy on site today kindly let me take those pic's. More from elsewhere

I'll expect to see this one roaring round Paphos in a few weeks then! :D There's a private ambulance service over here that picks up retired wagons from Yuk, he hasn't got anything as nice as a Turbodaily though. If he did, I'd be applying...

Shame about the Cambridge although it looks rather ropey, would have still made a few hundred quid on ebay for racing!! If you're passing it again I'd be interested in the ashtrays in the back of the front seats if undamaged. Avenger wagon looks spectacularly minging too. :D

There is some amazing tat in that yard Rootes! In the second picture of the hiabbed Avenger, is that a blue Princess to the right of the transporter and a MK3 Zephyr/Zodiac to the left?

A lot of stuff from there I have posted on here since 2008 - and more should follow over time. The Fords a MK2 Cortina and the Princess is one of a couple that were on site..

Blimey! The times I've driven past that garage and never knew what was in there. Makes you wonder what else is lurking out of sight.

Still some old Minis (vans cars and Riley Elf) there as well as the A60 and P100. Minis were too hemmed in to picture.

It's amazing what gets dragged out of old buildings and the like. What condition are the minis - Same as the P100 and Oxbridge :?:

As well as meeting an ignominious end, Oxbridge looks like it was once a victim of plate rape.

The Montego with the towball missing has been in that field around three years - the other one and the Suzuki have appeared in the last few months. Given there are farms nearby my guess was that they are for the diesel engines for Land Rover conversions. Where the Minis were in the building housing the P100 and Cambridge has helped them escape too much damage and the owner has bought them back from the insurance company to restore.
