I've been hit by the bastards twice in the last year even having tried to get out of the way, plus the one who cycled into the back of me.  Fine if they hit me, I get a couple of bruises.  If they hit the dog though it could be a lot worse.  So I'll stick to trying to stay the heck out of the way I think.

There seem to be a select bunch who think the MK Redways (for those who don't know the area - a network of off-street shared footways/cycleways spanning the whole town, meaning there are no footways adjacent to most of the main roads) are strictly for cyclists and that they absolutely own them.

Then of course there's also the perpetual misuse of them by people on mopeds and motorbikes which is always fun.  Nothing for waking you up like having one tear past you at speed on a path that's about two metres wide.

I just need to get moved out of this hellhole.

No wonder he didn't go for planning. Looks like B&Q is in his back yard.😂

Nice collection though.

We've all had thoughts of winding up dick neighbours by parking a howling (but MOT/taxed) van outside their front door ..this geezer is just doing it with a Bentley instead of a battered old smiley 😂😂

With no discernable vehicle access, I wonder how he built it in the first place.

Part of me thinks good on him, but you wouldn't want that at the end of your garden would you? No wonder the neighbours hate him.

I can just imagine how much damage an annoyed neighbour could do when they find an old bottle of nitro moors in the shed…

I appear to have developed shingles over the last couple of days. And bugger me, I was NOT prepared for how much it would hurt. Started on the inside of my thigh, spread to the small of my back and appears to be getting dangerously close to my gentleman's area. Not only sore but it's making me feel like shit overall as well, feeling sick and listless.

Not a whole lot I can do either, 111 say I can to to the GP on Monday for an antiviral prescription or just ride it out, and there isn't a huge difference between the two.

Get them to give you some good painkillers though.

My missus had shingles years ago and got some kind of codeine ones. I took two of them by mistake when I had a hangover and was high as the proverbial kite.

I will have the distant sound of Yakety Sax gradually getting louder for hours, before he reaches his crescendo outside the house, then it'll slowly doooooo do do dodo do dur do dodo do doooo de le le le le leeh! away again.

Fucking torture.

Despite advice on AS telling me to wire the tow bar on my Fusion with a generic kit I went and bought a genuine new old stock ford wiring kit. It was cheap enough and after sending the vendor my VIN I was told that it was the correct kit for the car. Predictably, I've fitted it and it won't work. There's a single wire and plug on the Fusion's loom that appears to be missing that the kit needs to plug in to and when I tried to plug a 20a fuse into the fuse board under the dash there was no wiring on the other side of the slot for the fuse to actually plug in to.

The single wire from the wiring kit is for the indicator tell-tale on the dashboard and the 20a fuse would presumably provide a live feed. Why these items are missing on my car I have no idea. but I'll have to work around it I guess!

Been to look at a car this afternoon. "Maintained regardless of cost" "Well looked after - Needs nothing"  "Really nice condition".

Surprised I did not buy it - Well mate the 3 bold tyres / Smashed rear arch ( Pictured in the advert not to show it ) / Bumper flapping about on 50% of the clips it needs and random shredded wires hanging underneath

should be a clue!

Bugger!

I expect the advert will soon be relisted with the phrase "re-advertised due to timewasters" as a bonus little stab at you for them!

No you didn't. There was loads of room.

Nothing wrong with that. Obviously the actual speed would get an instant ban, but as an overtake? Perfect.

Yup, no swerving. braking or other avoidance measures needed.

Only because both I, and the oncoming vehicle braked. I've got to admit it was impressive acceleration, but aside from that still think it was too close for comfort.

So have I, but closer than I'd like to have seen if I was the oncoming driver.

Just dropped a spindle of CDs, most ones I've burned myself, 18 of the 20 are cracked. Raging.

Some sort of hybrid between the 20th and the 21st it would appear. 😆

My dad said he felt old a few years ago when I bought a cd from the merch stand of a band we saw! Got back in his ioniq and... No cd player 😂 He hadn't realised, just assumed it had one! Had to wait until I was back in my car to play it. Then once home I ripped it, tagged it, dropped it onto the USB stick I keep in the car and haven't touched the disc again...
