How long does a turd last before it goes off?

I was sent an NHS shit dipping kit the other day, promptly introduced it to my arse and packed everything up in the little envelope, which spent all day yesterday sitting on the worktop. Today I put in my pocket and took it for a drive round. I popped in at the shop, and walked straight past the fucking post box - twice - and brought my little dump home with me again. It's now back on the worktop & I'm hoping to take it out for another go tomorrow.

I really appreciate the help, unfortunately she's now gone and bought a pair of secondhand ones, at considerably more than I've been shown ones for sale for!

Only thing I can say, is it was time dependent for a retest on the MOT.

I wouldn’t worry. The old test required four samples over consecutive days, so the first was at least 3 days old before posting. Just send it asap.

Nine days now. Seven working days have passed as well, if that's their twisted version of a week. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Not even picking up the phone now.

It's public holidays tomorrow and Monday, but knowing Serbian admin, 2/3 of them will also take Tuesday off.  So much for driving or fettling with it when I actually have some spare fucking time.

Silver lining* is I'm working through holidays, so it's not like I'd have Friday and Monday anyway. That somehow makes it all better, right? Right?

Can't wait* to see how much will I end up paying for this fuckery when I cancel insurance policy on it.

I did similar last Saturday daytime. I fell top to the bottom on the stairs. However I ain't putting a picture of my severely bruised arse on here or anywhere. Got a right cheek in many shades of purple.

Couriering caddy is losing fluids again, after sloshing nearly £30 of diesel down our street last week, this week its decided to leak power steering fluid.

Done a 500 mile round trip to Devon today, came off the motorway near home to be greeted by whining steering. Feared the worst that the pump had gone again, it was only replaced 80k miles ago. Fortunately it looks like the pipe/clip/reservoir has given up - can't be arsed to deal with it tonight, something for tomorrow me to deal with.

Some chocolate bars I saw at the seaside the other day sums up perfectly how the van is behaving at the moment.

Thats given me flashbacks to some of the bills Northgate used to send me when a rental van went back. Could usually get the repairs done for around 20% of their estimates at a local place/smart repairer.

they explain where it is and say oh you can fly into limoges bordeaux etc

but then say you can drive from calais its 7 hours

when theres 5 other ports that put you closer

why do these programmes always do that ffs

Yes but you’re quicker and possibly cheaper using the shortest sea route (esp the tunnel). I’m heading to that area in a few weeks. I’m going  via Cherbourg but St Malo is nearer. However it’s 5 hours longer on the ferry instead of driving for 1 1/2 hours.
