The ad doesn't have the name of the previous owner, the method of payment or the supplying dealer's name, so I'm out.

"On 16th April 1995, Mr G Kendal of West Bridgford, Notts, went into Lookers Ford on Station Road. Using his Lloyd's chequebook, Mr Kendal wrote a cheque for £12627.32 as payment in full for his Mondeo.

The weather was dry but cloudy. Mr Kendal was wearing his C&A cardigan over a M&S grey shirt, with beige slacks and black leather slip-ons with a gold tassle."

A6 2.0 TDI Auto, £1000 Rugby.

Cranks, won't start. Do we reckon that's something easy like relay or fuse?

Abso-fuckin-lutely not :(

Either the injection pump has gone kaboom and taken the injectors with it, or some form of electrical fault. But we're not talking about B6 Passat level of shoddy electrics on these, so assume the former

All respect I had for you is gone. I'm gonna have to smash the records you sold me way back when, and delete your old obsolete number from my phone.

Haven’t seen that one out for a bit. Wonder how bad it really is? Early ones usually stand up pretty well to the ravages of time and 3 large is pretty much a bargain for an early National if it is still as good as the pictures.

Hmm, Steve Kirk. Name rings a faint bell.

£2150  / 51k mile Fluence.

Can you still buy-out the £77pcm  battery lease for £1?

@Kiltox is our resident expert on these matters, but I would assume so, given that Renault can't / won't actually replace a Fluence battery if it sharts itself now, so the lease agreement isn't worth the paper it's written on.

That's almost close enough to get back to mine on a charge, and it's almost cheap enough to be tempting...

I've seen this yesterday. The fact that the seller is claiming this car is overall in very good condition despite the abs system clearly throwing fault codes doesn't help (no issues mentioned in the ad at all). Still cheap for the mileage.

ONE WIPER CONVERSION

Who did this? Were they high?

I'm not that new to this forum (and certainly this thread).

What's with the Mr G L Lawrence thing? I've just spotted it on that moped.

Cheap Transit up for auction this week. £300-£500.

No MoT, no V5, 143,000 miles

I've always wondered this.
If someone has a car repossessed and someone applies for the V5 using a V62k, if I remember, it sends a letter to the previous holder of the V5 asking them if there is any reason why a new V5 shouldn't be divvied out.

What if they say "No, I don't agree"?
