Just watching a new police series on Netflix, DeptQ.  Mathew Goode playing the lead role, asks his boss for a car, a bit later you see him pick up some keys from his desk…… fecking Sierra😂😂. Pretty sure its modern era series as theyre seen driving over the new Queensferry Bridge in Edinburgh.

Yes a modern era series. See how many times he dumps & badly parks said Sierra all over the shop. Good series.

I drove to work in the Eos, and as it was a rather nice day I put the roof down on the way home.  Coming out of Wroxham I got an enthusiastic wave from another top-down Eos driver going in the other direction.  First time I've ever had that happen in a "modern"...

Just logged into my Tesco Clubcard account, which I usually only do twice a year, to get a voucher code for railcards for myself and SWMBO. Got a security check email, fair enough, but this bit made me chuckle:

I'm running Windows 10 Pro.

The entire Bulgarian Post Office went down last year,as it was still running Windows 98,and no one had bothered with any updates until it shit itself...

Went looking for a picture of a Matra Simca Bagheera and Google sent me to Autocar website, who dumped me into their 'latest news and reviews page'.

Glad to see that design individuality between manufacturers is alive* and kicking*

Despite how I'm stood, I'm not that camp.

I’ve spotted myself twice on Google Street View during the last few years but I’ve been in my car.

That's a mk1 HCT (high capacity trolley) too which dates it. We use mk2s now.

Sat in the living room with the windows open, heard a car horn frantically beeping and a guy's faint voice say "fuck off" 😂

I was lamenting my discovery of rust and fibreglass in the Midget a couple of weeks ago to a chap I know. He's a mechanic who has a unit nearby, about 25 minutes drive away from home. I said I'd been looking for a space to keep and work on my cars for well over 10 years and hadn't found anything remotely suitable. Around here if it's got a roof and three walls they want you paying full commercial prices.

Anyway, he goes "You should have said! I'm moving units and have two until September, you can bring the MG down, plenty of space."

So I took it up there on Saturday. Have ordered a few more panels and booked Friday off work. Going to make a start digging into it properly. I had written it off as I was storing it in a friend's garage which was absolutely rammed and the only place I could work on it was outside. No way to get underneath it and no space to store what would come off it if I needed to get it on a rotisserie.

Now I've got somewhere to work on it properly with a lift etc. all that can change! Going to get it to a point where it's safe to drive and largely rust free then enjoy it for a bit.

Hopefully once I've done the MG he'll be ok with me bringing the Mini along!

Hang on - it's June now and he's only got it 'til September ! 😂

It's worse than that, it's me doing the work evenings and weekends!

Not going for a full restoration on it, just get it usable and make sure any metal that can't be cut out and replaced is at least taken back and treated properly.

I've just read all 187 pages of the public version of the National Risk Assessment, so I am now troublingly aware of how many potentially catastrophic events have a likelihood rating of 5 (<25% over the assessment period)

I'm now absolutely convinced WW3 is imminent, perhaps I shall get to fly a fighter jet...

...or at least one of those cardboard drones.

Went out for a walk today, I was having a bit of difficulty finding the place to park. I decided that I would look to see if there was any help in the reviews.
