You don't just press a button. It won't help you unless you're pedaling. It kind of puts the same effort in as you do. The one I hired in Spain was different. You just had to pretend you were pedaling and you were away.

I had one for 4 years .
Gone back to a normal bike now so I’m like an ex smoker or drinker 😂

Ringtons,  nice! I still buy their tea by mail order and have it sent down south!

My mother always had Ringtons deliver and bought a lot of their discounted "Willow Pattern" crockery.

Youngest daughter has tons of it now.  Kind of passed me by.

I had my first hair cut since the middle of February today done by a local guy who has set himself up in a brilliant little air conditioned shed in his garden.

I was complaining to Chris (the guy on the scissors) about how grey I had gone lately.

He said yeah but there's loads of bald guys who would love to have shit loads of grey hair.

Wise barber, he is. Plus, he won't earn much from baldies :)

Mid life crisis camper wanker status achieved.

Just went up to Appletreewick near Bolton Abbey for a test camp to see if everything worked. Close enough to home if it went tits up.

Only things to change though that we identified are the table is a bit wobbly and we need a better sleeping bag.

Electric worked (twin leisure batteries), gas worked and didn't kill us (I've got an alarm in anyway), slept all 3 of us in the van okay, with MrsImp and I in the back and ImpJr across the front seats.

Only issue was I drank too much so snored a bit apparently. However it works okay as a camper. Will hopefully get some use out of it over the summer.

Wouldn't normally let ImpJr use the telly when we we're away, I'd make him go out and play but as it was our first time and it was such a bugger to fit I let him.

Also managed a couple of spots.

And saw this in the morning when I was getting comically overcharged for gas.

Very pleasing to be able to get to the East Coast Retros monthly do down at Shotley on Friday evening. A lot of great stuff in attendance and excellent to finally catch up with the mighty Astra 1200 saloon of @trigger

It even had a friend with it.

AS contingent. Got to have a drive around the field in the Astra, it's a lovely little thing.

And got a good bridge shot on the way home.

Just about to jump in the Laurel for the periodic long commute to head office.

I can't believe you got two round lamped mk1 astras next to each other! If someone asked me how many were left in the world I would have guessed about 1 and a half

Considering how they can look so good but be rotten - you could still be close! I gave up the search a long while back..... settled for a Cavalier at the time.

@Spottedlaurel - I haven't seen the vehicle before - that is an absolute stunner,,,,,, lovely looking thing, Hats off..... is there a thread on it? I failed miserably on searching

I've driven past this sorry looking Megane on a garage forecourt in Kings Lynn a few times, tyres are flat and looks like it's been there a while, but was quite impressed on checking Streetview to see it was there in June 2016, priced at £1995 then and now down to £1695 if anyone fancies it 😀

Surely this means there's a transit tipper with a motorbike engine in driving round pinching manhole covers

I'd like to see a bike with the Transit Di in it with the big banana manifold sticking out the side clipping dust bins and scraping down the side of cars.

I'm in Sunny Beach. It's rained most of the time but hey, ho they sun's out now.

Anyone who's been will have seen the electric Trikes. It's my first visit, but I'd heard.

They have 2 speeds, slow and dangerous. FWD. Good riders only use 2 wheels. They have a seat, but most people stand up.

The guy was a little apprehensive about hiring me one, gave me all the health and safety issue's, pointed to my elbows and exposed skin, mentioned something  about old.

I gave him my 20 lv  (£10) .Everyone else is now on 30 lv but he is in a little backwater, and didn't know until I'd had a few goes and told him.

You need a good flat surface, which is why they use a Prom full of people, at 40 mph.

I'm in a backwater, on the roads with people and cars, there's a bit* of tank slapping when you hit a bump, and it's possible to get the front wheel to drift if you try really hard.

Grin factor 11/10.  Don't blame me if you crash.

That’s equally impressive skills as it is terrifying

Not much room for a mistake though , most construction jobs you'd get away with a fuck up , that one you'd definitely be dead
