This made me grin last night. Still a very funny fella. 20260402_193215.jpg.7dc66af46e4fa442fce13de9ef8eaac3.jpg

We're off to see him Thursday in Cambridge,  pleased to see it appears to be a good show

Glorious weather today and got some actual visible bodywork progress on the Princess this afternoon.  All the stuff I've been doing so far has been underneath, unseen by anyone but me (and the people on my Patreon), so it seems like I make a lot of obnoxious noise and nothing actually happens.  Feels good to see a big chunk of the car going back on again and while I know I won't be making a pretty job of it, I will be making a good enough job of it and that's all I care about really.

I also seem to be getting better at pacing, which is key to managing the ME/CFS, and actually stopping before I go too far and mess myself up for [random time period].  Time will tell, today's efforts might bite me later.  Right now I'm in a really good mood and it feels like it's been a while since I've had a day where I feel more like myself again.

Very obscure, but in 1979, following the ITV Strike, ITV came back on air with this cheesy song as sung by the Mike Sammes Singers:

What made me laugh, was the fact that Tiwas decided to make a spoof version of the song for their show:

Bunch of T shirt designs came up on my Fartsbook feed.

See what I did there.

Obviously highly risqué to wear, acknowledge or even post up.

That's really excellent news. The internet is a funny old place because I'm not sure I've ever met you in real life but I feel like I know you and have been hoping to see you feeling better for some time.  Long may both the sunshine and your improved condition last.

Keighley?!? Bugger me…you feeling brave?

I’m a reckless bastard at the best of times and even I wouldn’t buy a car from there…

In terms of powder coating, North Valley down the road from me have a good reputation but I’m not sure they do much vehicle related? They seem to specialise in fencing and gates predominantly but they may be worth a call?

Needed boards for a floor in the porch.

Remembered I'd got 18mm loft boards.

Lovely job.

In the 90s i spent 2 years working at a Lucas factory in Keighley whilst living near Settle.  Keighley is a Weird sort of town.  That's all I have.

I went to Stockport to buy a car because all the ones I looked at locally were shit or overpriced.

I once had some wheels refurbished in Prescott.  About 20 years ago.

Mustard mitt, your cryptic messages are fun to decipher. 😅

So, er..... as I'm a person, not 'people' I can only guess that most people say "BD" stands for Bradford.

You're out in Keighley to look at a BD postcode? Er...Ok.

Didn't realise BD postcodes in Keighley had blue and white dashboards, but, ya know, everyday is a school day. 🤣

you need to look at the context above :) he is out looking at a motorcycle in Keinghley, a higher spec one with Sat nav, and the bike is Blue and White (or if not a motorcycle, some sort of vehicle anyhow!)

It is indeed. I think a decent set of wheels will make all the difference!

What did you think? My favourite sketch was the 40/45 fella. Just brilliant.
