Just spend 1.5 hours disassembling reassembling a brass bed, so i could move it down a floor into what will be the airbnb / lodgers room.  

And then an hour assembling a similar bed in the room where the first bed was.  This new one is 6 inches wider.  Mattress to.be delivered next week.  They guaranteed to able to get it up 2 flights of stairs though gaps that are very small. 

The grin? I'm flat pack.assembly king..

So you can get an electric Corsa now! This came up as a Facebook ad, intriguing for me as I didn't know they had a new shape Corsa anyway. Looks enormous and I'm imagining it will be excellent as General Motors has made the majority of the world's diesel electric trains... so must know something at least about electropower. New owners Peugeot on the other hand...

It looked really good until I saw the price £30k, almost exactly double the none electric one. Given electric motors are simple compared to IC engines I would expect that aspect to be cheaper, so how does a motor controller and battery cost £15k? It’s ridiculous. At around £15k they would sell shed loads, at £30k..............
