That looks pretty tidy in that photo. I'll have all the tickets when your sister sells it please.

This one belongs to my mother. She tends to hang onto cars several years but rest assured it will be advertised on here when the time comes.

Its fairly tidy but the drivers seat (blue) is torn, theres a big dent in the nearside rear quarter, and its missing one white wheeltrim and one Pininfarina badge. Does anyone have either?

For a 118k, 30 year old French convertible its survived very well.

Back on July I photographed a 1991 Audi 100 in my local Sainsbury, posted it in the lazy spotters thread and mentioned that its long term owner was thinking of parting with it. Forgot all a out it until ten minutes ago when she rang to see if I still wanted it or it's going for scrap. I don't think I have the space or the money but does anybody want to save it? J140UOL, sorned but a bit of mot left apparently, £100 and in Colchester somewhere.

Just starting on ITV 4 , Brannigan !

Every car from the Ford Press fleet, John Wayne, a dodgy pinstriped E type and Judy Gleeson.

What's not to like?

Went back to the SORN'd Mondy to chock the wheels today, it was just nudging it's nose against the front wall of the garage, and being a Mondeo bumper would probably shatter into a million pieces if left like that. Looks cosy*.

Following the success & mirth of the Datsuncog advent calendar idiocy, I have started to prepare the an Adventshite calendar for 2019.

I've seen a few good suggestions of nice* things to put behind the window, which include the BL plughole of doom, The Grange Hill sausage, and an overheating K-series engine.

Suggestions do not have to be motoring or shite related. The 24 I feel the most bizarre, shite &c will be put in, however do so by PM so as not to spoil the surprises.

Colour Scheme is correct as well.

Sorting through my late Uncle's thing's I found this. I have a vague recollection that he'd worked for University Motors, as it was family lore that everyone who could drive had owned an MG 1100 or 1300 at one point in the 60's

'Your Christmas is Our Concern'

That will go on the final version. If successful I can see how much it would cost to produce a small run of say 50 at the printers where my wife works. Moneys after costs going to the forum hosting fund.

My MGC GT was from University Motors.

Saloon or estate?

EDIT, it's a saloon.  Original spotted pic: http://autoshite.com/topic/13441-lazy-spotters-thread/page-137?do=findComment&comment=1545721

.... Judy Gleeson.

What's not to like?

Nothing. Definitely close to the top of my "Communal list".

If all goes to plan, the XJ-S will be locked away in the garage from Tuesday! Just got to persuade a couple of recalcitrant motors to, er... motor again!

Thanks for that I just ordered the door and screen seals for the Thunderbird and saved me nearly 20 quid.

Kangaroo Valley. Is that the most Australian bit of Australia? Sounds it.

Happy new year man!

Yep. Happy New Year to our friends across the Dateline.   I'll have a few more hours of not being nearly 60, thank you.

I washed the cars today in preparation for putting the XJ-S away tomorrow (it'll never happen!) also polished the driver's seat squab with coloured polish, it's the only bit of the interior with any damage/wear and then only very slight and put the battery back on! It's only been in the front room for a month. Then used the Jaguar to try and dry it off a bit, it reminded me how lovely it is to drive, but I will feel much happier when it's locked away with a cover on it instead of outside in the rain.

Washed the Merc as well - whoop!

Now utterly knackered but I have just had treacle pud and custard as a 'fond farewell' to 2018 may we never see its like again!

Well that was fun*

Loaded up the Merc with all the detritus of the day for a tip run..

Chooch up the big hill before the dump, and round the sharp Left hander, plant the pedal.

No acceleration. REV counter says 2k rpm. Shift to Neutral, 0rpm and dash lights.

Let the bugger roll 1/4 of a mile and make it to the entrance to the dump road. Dead on 427miles.

Stopped with hazards on, luzz in 10L veg. Crank for 4 mins, BOOM running again.

Into the dump, unload, reminisce with a worker who was telling me of his pug 505 he ran on veg, then hame!

Looks like it is a 70L tank in the Merc

Fatha christmas brought me a big battery for the SD1.Once fitted it fired up imediately and without easy start. However I noticed a puddle of coolant on the floor - I need a new bottom hose.

Hope that's not a medical diagnosis....
