I might buy that so I can rebadge it as a Triumph Acclaim hatchback and then just leave it parked round the back of Gaydon. The AROnline forum would go fucking MENTAL.

He's been in and fixed the price now. Rather more reasonable at £699. The urge to trundle round with an industrial vat of T-Cut is strong, anyway.

That’s a great idea. A load of us turn up in the dead of night and give it a proper mopping so in the morning when matey gets up it looks like the Farecla Fairy has been.

So, I thought I would join all the other crack heads selling 340’s for silly money and stick one of mine on here for a totally unachievable amount to see what interest it would generate. Who knows, I might even get enough for the deposit on a garden shed......I will get on the property ladder somehow.

A factory drophead Conquest is a nice thing to look at, but 6 large seems very salty for a 1066 with the roof cut off and someone's dirty laundry draped over the top. A shame as it looks not too bad besides the obvious wobbage, stevie wonder blow-over and the stupid seats. Ok, it's actually terrible.

Good estimating though! His classified ad was at £925 then it was relisted as an auction... final price £901.

This ,tax free ,coil sprung , Tdi powered Q Plate escapee is registered as a red Rover. No mention of Land Rover or Range Rover, although it’s last V5 was 2012, so the new owner might have some Issues.

Although , I’d be more bothered by those doors rattling away and flying open on bumpy corners.

Not to worry it’s only £40,000, yes that’s FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS!!!

What in the fuck is going on there?! That's an abomination. Yeah, what you really want in a series Land Rover (whether it's coil sprung or not) is a flipping momo racing steering wheel and bucket seats. It must be torture to drive.

Also, all that money and effort and they can't even be arsed getting a matching spare wheel:

^^^IF it were registered correctly^^^ would it be a Q plate ? Are you saying the points based system means that the changes are so great that it needs to go through IVA/SVA ? Given that the "changes" are obviously not from the early 80s and are obviously from this millennium, does that mean it's also not tax exempt and is a bit too much of a bitsa.  I hesitate to use the words Ringer as that implies some sort of theft, and at worst they've used the identity and  front panels off a series 3, on a later chassis.  But it's definately a risky purchase.

In 1986, I worked with a guy who had a genuine series 1 pickup with Range rover Suspension, and a 3.9 V8, and fairly wide chunky wheels and tyres.   The chassis matched the V5 but alot was from the Lode Lane parts bin.  How would he fare today ? The changes he'd made were pretty much everything apart from body and chassis, and I assume the chassis would have had to be modified to make the range rover Suspension fit.

£5,995.
An absolutely mint and original rialto is probably only worth 2k and given one of the headlights on this is full of brown water i think it safe to assume it wasn't in mint condition to start with. So probably <1k
No way in fucking hell is there 5 grand worth of work gone into this thing.
Its the wrong model, it was cheap shite to start with. The paint job is already peeling.

what the fuck are they thinking.
If anyone here is considering buying this I'll sell you mine for £4,000. I'll include a brand new tin of yellow dulux house paint and a (lightly used) sex doll for free
