Anybody interested in this?

Petrol engine and low 40kish mileage. An older chap I know was given it when his very elderly father stopped driving. He used it for 6 months till the tax ran out and it's spent another four in his garden so I expect the test has run out as well. He is planning to stick it in the next Leominster car auction so shout quickly if you do want it. I have the wrong phone number for him and he doesn't know the right one but I do see a fair bit of him and I know where he lives ( took the picture when I was trying to find him earlier)

EDIT  Just checked online and it's tested until the end of January to make collection easier and is the 1.6

Go on, I'll bite. How much roughly? (I don't need it, I've got nowhere to put it but, well, you know.)

I honestly don't know,  if all else fails we could make a suggestion of a reserve price for the auction so it doesn't get bought by the scrapyard for £50 but that would involve somebody being prepared to pick it up from the auction yard quickly.

There's a chance that I'll soon have access to a car trailer and in one breath I can't wait but in another.......

That BX looks lovely... Do ask the owner for a guide price, if FPB7 doesn't get it, I may be tempted...

Too many fond memories of my old BX14, despite its healthy appetite for crown wheels. The 1600 doesn't have that problem, so your only* worry would be the ever-leaking return LHM pipes...

Looking for a good pair of period free standing parcel shelf speakers.

1980s Pioneers would be good.

I have some in the garage you could have for cheap. May even be Pioneer, I'm not sure but will check later. Can weigh up for postage or collect from Coventry CV6. Last installed in a car in about 2007 and worked gr9 at the time as far as I can recall.

BX news,  I saw the seller earlier and got his phone number (checked it worked this time too).  Told him that 4 people were interested and one had offered £300.  He's after a little more if possible but it shouldn't end up in a breakers now so I'm happy.

Good that it's going to be saved, shame it's not by me. The astate must have heard the possibility of mother BX in the fold and countered it by splitting its exhaust and CV boot. Oh good, more things to do on it!

It get jealous, I tell ye.

That car eats sodding exhausts,  the whole lot got replaced while I had it but the joint between the front and centre was always shit which was why it got welded.  It think it was having a strop about me fitting a secondhand rear box (it was about a month old when I scrapped the stripy one so I whipped it back off).

Sigmund,  you're the only AS'er in the running for the green BX now.

Delivery might be dear as they're quite heavy.  PM me if interested.  I don't know what they're worth (if anything) so make me an offer.

They sound pretty good TBH, so I'd go for 'em!

Anybody after a sandblasting cabinet? Only used once to blast a set of wheels. No idea of value as I didn't buy it, but how does £50 including a tub of grit sound? If there's any interest I'll grab a better photo, but this is the only one on my computer right now.
