EBay alerted me to this at lunchtime, had to open it to make sure it wasn’t a pissed off neighbour listing mine!:

I can’t laugh. I managed to faint in a First Aid class and woke up surrounded by 50 student nurses raring to practice.

Bonus: I didn’t need to buy a drink at the after class pub crawl.

I nicked my hand with a sharp axe at my mother-in-law's house a few years ago. Like all cuts from a very sharp blade, it did nothing to begin with and then suddenly pissed out blood. We got the first aid kit out, and then discovered that it had expired before their communist government had in 1989... We used Vodka from the freezer to disinfect it instead 🤣

I got my Dolomite back from the barn at the weekend after not seeing it for months, amazingly it fired straight up, even the battery was full charged and it drove back home perfectly.
I can't get over how good condition this 1850 is, everything works other than the speedo under reading which is a worry as i think i have have sped through a average speed camera on the A12 on the way home, (doing 60mph instead of a indicated 50mph 😒) There's no rust anywhere apart from the chassis that i stupidly crushed with a axle stand and there's no rattles or squeaks, amazing for a mid 70s BL car!
Again as i had the camera out i thought I'd take a load of photos!

Guilty, I took a 4000 mile car in almost perfect condition sold my Audi A6 and went back to driving old cars everyday. I used it for everything I would have used the Audi for  over nearly 2 years and it never broke down.
I did have to hit the starter  motor a couple of times and a couple of small jobs, rear brake cylinders and new exhaust and that was it. Took it to 16000 miles and strangely it wasn't  the winter that caused any damage but the summer sun on the velour and dash trims which started to fade.
I used it to go quoting jobs for my business and Im sure I got more jobs as it proved a good ice breaker when turning up somewhere new.

It's got a PRV, it's still accelerating on its way to deliver crushing disappointment and a massive fuel bill.

[edit: I would still buy it]
