I'm sure some of these would do it for a reasonable rate ?

Weather's really annoying me today. Was looking forward to taking one of me sheds out all week, and now after a lovely morning there seems to be a storm every 2 hours or so. So just as it starts to dry out to a point where I start to think I might be able to go for a drive it starts absolutely pissing down again.

Finding it difficult not to start swearing at this point.

Well that has been a pretty mixed weekend. Had a great automotive weekend (I will update my thread with that) but on Thursday one of my best friends, and fellow car nut, aged early 50s was killed in an accident at work :-( Within the last few minutes another friend has phoned to say his mother, a lovely lady of 88 and whom I have known for over 30 years, died at the beginning of the week (not COVID related). I have to go back offshore tomorrow so cannot go to either funeral, even if allowed.

Puts things in perspective and I am definitely grumpy.

Oh Brother!

About 10 days ago I posted on this thread about my car getting a scratch along the nearside front and rear door. Overnight I appear to have received a matching one down the offside. Same circumstances - had to park on the kerbside outside my block of flats.

There is a car park round the back of the flats that I use but when it's either full or idiot neighbours or visitors insist on parking 1.5 car lengths from one another then it's kerbside only. This time I was more considerate of not obstructing the pavement as much as I did previously yet some scrote still decided to put deep scratches on it. It's impossible to park solely on the road as cars can't enter and exit the car park.

As I said on my previous post, I hope that the arsehole gets some karma delivered to him/her.

Just as well it's a car worth little. Seriously thinking about moving. I wish that houses and bungalows with off road parking didn't cost so bloody much to rent.

Fuckers!

FFS no matter how many times I change my PayPal password I get a payment every now and then at random I get a log into my account onto an Android device.

I do not own any android devices. We use a secure VPN. I only ever use PayPal on my Mac, and running any security programs results in no threats. It doesn't matter what the program is, my PayPal gets activity I have not authorised. Ebay - no. Online banking - no. Other sensitive information websites I use - no.

methinks time to shut the PayPal down. Wife doesn't have this issue.

None of the supermarkets seem to stock caffreys any more. Not even my local bargain booze.

I wonder if it is no longer produced?

A lot of manufacturers are concentrating on core ranges to ensure enough supplies hit the high street. Try the proper stuff, begins with G.

Have you set up 2FA on PayPal?  Really would recommend doing so.

I have done now. I think it's where for some reason I can't change my account e-mail address from my old hotmail account to my quite secure iCloud account. I don't ever receive any confirmation that I have added a new e-mail address and the online chat with PayPal can't work out why either, hence close account

PayPal can't work out anything, support is a joke.

I'd close the account in that circumstance too.  I had a similar message a few weeks ago - changed password immediately and set up 2FA and I haven't had any issues with it since.  PayPal is a bit of a shitstorm, though.

This might be a deja vu post but fuck Anxiety.

2 to 3 high level anxiety attacks per day is getting tiring.

One of these days I'll have an actual heart attack and I won't notice because I always get chest pains.

I've tried meds in the past but I end up sluggish and ineffective at work, so that's a no go.

It's not as if anything in particular is wrong in my life either.

Just got a call that the hospital I work in got flooded due to torrential rain. That's going to be fun, hopefully I won't have to call extra staff in to help with cleanup. ?

Also, that same storm is headed right for me now. Gonna be rough.

Be careful with Valerian, I used to take it at uni and it's as much a drug as SSRIs and pot and shrooms.

The van has rewarded me for leaving to go to work early. It sounds like a bag hammers and has no power.

Picked up brand new sprinter with Luton box from the hire company with 4000 miles on it. Drivers window doesn’t go down and there is no lighter socket (only a Mercedes accessory plug, but no special lead available). Spent yesterday hot and with a perpetually flat phone....

Plus it has no power, rubbish even when it’s empty and full it really struggles with the slightest incline.

Going to be a long week!

The Mondeo did something similar the other day.  Rolling along at 60 on cruise control, suddenly the cruise kicked out and the ESP light came on with a message saying "engine malfunction".  Engine didn't sound any different though, and was still happy to roll along at 60 in 6th.  Again, switching it off and back on again cured it.

I've travelled 15 miles back home with a stop at aldi and everything seems fine now.

I hope it's not the start of something beautiful.
