It's an IP ban, and if you're on everyday run of the mill broadband your IP changes every few days, out of a pool shared with thousands of people in your area.

 

So there's every chance someone nearby-ish has pissed them off and you've chanced onto the address they were using at the time. You could try unplugging your broadband for a minute to get it to generate a new IP address, but they might have blocked a range of them.

My mobile has a block on tinypic saying the ipadress has a ban for improper use (which I haven't done) but is fine on the home broadband so maybe try a going on via wi-fi.

Ok, same applies but instead of unplugging just toggle aeroplane mode for a bit.

If that doesn't work, they've blocked a range which is a pretty stupid thing to do so probably just drop them an email and explain that it's not a fixed IP

MrsD only ever fills up when the light is flashing...and popped £10 of diesel in her Yaris without realising and drove it till it died... yes I know there is probably a joke in there somewhere about her being used to the nozzle not fitting..... she rang the RAC who said yes we can fix it but it will cost £200...... 200 fucking quid !!! luckily she had the sense to ring me first... went over with a jerry can of petrol got it running and drove it to the petrol station to fill it up..... Its fine now but I will change the fuel filter which is a fiver.....

Everyone but me probably already knows this, but apparently Green Flag don't charge for miss-fuelling .

Sister in law filled up my Brother's VW T5 with petrol, they got the same price from the RAC then remembered they'd got Green Flag with a bank account.

Its really annoying as I would image all breakdown services carry petrol.... no doubt there is some sensor/ cat related, where there is blame there is a claim, reason they couldn't just do what I did and add 20 litres of petrol but as she drove it until it died I would image any damage would have already been done...Anyway it started and got her to work this morning so all good...

Fucking puncture this morning on way to work!

 

Tyre flat as a fart 100m down road, was fine last night at about 9pm then this morning it's nearly broke the bead it's that flat. Either it's some glass I've run over or some scrotes been at it. Excuse for new tyres then I think.

I was a bit flustered (the dogs were arsing around complaining about being in the car without going somewhere for them to have a walk) and I'd hurt myself lugging the spare battery around etc, so I promptly went and reversed the car into the corner of the garage door! Not a 'lot' of damage, but damage there is and it ain't gonna polish out, only the bumper but still...

 

Oh and I've lost my E-cig and I have no idea how, where or when.

There are about eleventy billion ways to die horribly in a mine be it old and abandoned or new and working.

 

After moving from mining into construction I was astonished to see all manner of people blatantly ignoring no entry signs - do that underground without the right kit and you'll be deader quicker than you can say it.

When I was on recovery a few years ago (07) one of the lads brought in a nearly new BMW X5 diesel with a full tank of petrol but hadn't been started,

 

We offered to drain and fill with 20ltrs of derv for £250.

 

Guy said no as "it's under warranty" so it'll have to go to bmw in the morning for them to do "under warranty".

 

A few days later he called back in to us to say he wished he'd taken our offer as bmw pulled his pants down and butfucked him to the tune of nearly £4000, new fuel tank, lines, pump and filters etc.

 

Not covered under warranty apparently.

£250 sounds very reasonable to me. If you've even so much as used the remote locking it primes the fuel lines on some cars so it can be a bit of a job to flush it all out.
