North Tyneside parkkie did me at 'Waves' pool, Tynemouth.

I parked my works van near the front door - in a Bus Only layby - and left a sheet on the dash saying what/who/why & phone no! Ffinn SUNDAY ffs!!

Aneehoo... exchange of emails resulted in my sending my 'e- worksheet' to them (proving I was doing work) 4 squash :)

J ffinn C.... I was doing a job for the very council.. Ayee.

I got a parking fine a few weeks back from the local Council and decided to challenge it. When I did, I couldn't upload photos of my car on thier website as my tablet just threw a hissy fit.

A few weeks later they decided to reply to me not accepting my "challenge" as they quoted. But would re-consider if I could supply some evidence. So I fired off an e-mail attaching photos of the damaged Merc. Lets see what that brings.

Regarding the insurance thing, I've still got to send copies of my documents to a solicitor, and then deal with the 3-points speeding fine thing I got back in August. It just seems to be a never ending stream if paperwork just to deal with authorities. I should charge them for my time :|

Don't you have a cartridge refill place near you?

It doesn't like refills, I've tried many times.  It'll print a couple of pages, if I'm lucky, then decide to reject the cartridge.  I would love to use them, I believe in recycling (just look at the cars I drive!) but the bloody equipment won't let me!

If anyone sees a stock of new Lexmark No.2 cartridges, please pick some up for me!

Saw an ENT specialist a few weeks ago - he gave me a prescription that had to be handed in to my GP.

I handed in said prescription- staff cannot find it now. I have no idea what the medication was as the letter was in a sealed envelope.

I am livid - the care shown to me new born son at Whiston hospital was fabulous.

I cannot say the same of my local surgery.

Had all 4 of my kids at Hotel Whistonia. Never a problem. Midwives are miserable if you deal with them profesionally in work, but fantastic when you are at the receiving end of the care. Congrats

The year is disappearing :(

I've fulfilled some of my plans but a bit behind on others and it's getting darker earlier

Need a final push this month to get things in a better place

The neighbours just landed in their helicopter ( royal flight thing) while I was trying to talk to my deaf grandfather on FaceTime. Last time I had this much trouble with inconvenient planes I was living in colnbrook and had to pause talking when Concorde took off!

An R22 landed at the back of us at Chumley yesterday but the 2 old guys who got out with a sausage dog didn't look like anyone I'd know......

My mate's mother passed away on Friday due to complications from Alzheimers.

Horrific watching somebody you have known since being small getting to the point where you are a stranger to them.

RIP Chris, you will be missed.

Just cycled to the M-inL's to pick up some curry, daal and so on. Main road, has many crossings and width restrictions on it. White van tosser comes up behind me, slows down then overtakes and turns immediately left and stops just as he turns in. WTF? I yell abuse at him and he just sits there gawping. He then drives off closely followed by a cop car that was going in the opposite direction and which whizzed round. Hehehehe.

I may have taken SWMBOs car keys with me to Newcastle today. Oh, I have a spare. It's on my house keys, also in my pocket.

Now home awaiting creation of a new faecal matter outlet by the method of tearing.

Saw a nice Gunmetal grey Slll Jag earlier, why the grump? You may well ask.

Well the driver was a twat, poor lane discipline , cutting people up, not indicating etc.

For some reason this made me sad and a little embarrassed at liking his car- I am a sensitive idiot.

Not the cars fault that the driver is a fuckwit. No reason not to admire the car, just filter out the driver from your consciousness.

Booked in to Tame Mechanic tomorrow morning.  Should only take half a bottle* of Dex3 to travel the two miles.  While it's there, I've asked him to get a quote on the arches from the body shop next door.

Chod, eh...?  ;)

To be fair he didn't say it was leaking.

A mate had a Sierra auto that burned atf by siphoning it up a breather pipe somehow.

It did mean he got it for nothing cos it smoked badly and wouldn't change gear.

Took a while to diagnose.

Faulty modulator valve - SD1's with GM 180 boxes do it as well.

I lost my old Mum to this.

She spent her last months in a home, as she was a danger to herself in her own place.

She didn't recognise me either. I don't mind admitting I used to shed a few tears when I used to visit her.

Spent most the evening sorting a new mortgage, getting older is fucking boring and being skint sucks donkey balls.

I used to work with the elderly in an emi nursing home, a lot of the residents had dementia or alzheimers, it was a sad thing to see families coming to see their loved ones who didn't recognise them
