I can freely admit I have never, ever seen one of these in my life.

Colt Lancer Turbo EX2000

I have a strong suspicion that this will end up at a local Mitsubishi specialist near me. Of who is renowned for tuning and racing these.

Opel Ascona - 1.6 S  - Base model?  1985
Location Netherlands Price only 500€. There is some rust, naturally, and some damage to the paint on the boot. Wonder how did that happen? Overall not so bad. The Dutch MOT (APK) run out in June 2021

The damage looks like it may have happened because someone Keyed it and over time the laqueur has peeled off where the paint was damaged.

I hope not, can't be many original cars left

I like this, and didn’t realise they did the Charade in a saloon. MOT history looks fairly good with very low mileage and it looks like this is the top of the range model GLXI SE and for bonus points it’s also an auto! £595 Bromley

I'd still consider owning one, ideally a pee facelift. I really like how they look from the back...

Not quite, yes it is a basic LS but it a. is an almighty powerful 1.6 instead of the 1.3 and b. it has a couple of options, such as a right side mirror.

Fair price, if it isn't too crusty underneath...

Not a terrible way to end up for a homologation road car..... as a race car.

A local shop owner had one of these in the late eighties / early nineties. My dad owned the only other Lancer I'd seen of this shape.

Cool? No - dad had a 1400 GLX ..... but  it was great. Did a 360 on a frosty February evening not long after I'd passed my test in 1989 follecting my parents and my uncle/aunt from an evening meal. It was a single track road in Carmarthenshire with a ditch/hedge on both sides. No damage - didn't touch the sides.

Silence broken by uncle Mike's words "well I shit a brick"

Happy mammaries😁

That's basically exactly what I was looking for! It'll probably go for more than my (currently imaginary) budget but I'll keep an eye on it.

BIN is £2k

Oh that's quite reasonable! It doesn't show up for me for some reason though.

Pee facelift? Is that what this site is for?

Rotten flat front 900 Turbo listed in the parts category. £310 at the moment, worth a pretty penny in parts if one can be arsed to break it. Those "airflow"  vent covers are £100+ on their own.

Always pondered how easy it would be to transplant the running gear from one of these into a 3 Door 99. Dream ULEZ beater right there.

That 900 has been in my watch list all week - managed to resist the temptation so far though.

I once had a 99 with a T16S engine from a 9000 Turbo fitted, so it is perfectly feasible, if a little torque steery.

That poor little Vanden Plas 1500 that sold in Brightwells last week is on ebay.

Saw it on Brightwells but t'missus said 'non' - I think the same seller is listing a Range Rover that went through Brightwells in the same auction?

....for twice the Brightwells price?

I just double checked - neither the RR or VP sold at Brightwells on 28th - Reserve not reached I guess

Ooh yeah also this sold for £33K (so not autoshite - certainly not tat)

Me too, hopefully it rockets in price at the last minute so I can justify not bidding 😁

I have seen a couple of 16v conversions in 99s, but they aren’t a common sight. I bet your old 99 was fun!  The one listed is a 1985 car, so could be either 8v or 16v.
