This for me is the ultimate real mini. You can keep all your Cooper replicas; I even love the plate. MEH!!!

100% agree with you there (rear chrome bar thing notwithstanding), The 1978-1980 years are peak Mini in my opinion.

S80 T6.
52k.

£1000.

Yes there's a suspected boost leak but how much of a bargain is this?!

I always thought it was a crying shame that they had to detune these to prevent the gearbox exploding.  These could have been an absolute beast of a car - as it is they're not much quicker than my V70 T5 (although that is pretty bloody quick to be fair).

At least the car is already here which solves the trying to remove it from Italy and driving a foreign car on UK insurance gubbins. A nice write up, he wouldn't be out of place on here, but if it was that easy to re register you'd think he would have done it by now as it would make it much easier to sell. Still love it though.

When we were 16 my mate Ade bought one of these on hire purchase from the local Honda dealer. It was six years old at the time ( I saved up and bought my CB50J for cash). After a while he found a newer field bike with the disc brake and 5 speed 'box. No mudgaurds, lights a ripped seat and a buckled rear wheel. He took all the bits needed from the H.P bike to make it  road legal. Got it registered and ran that. He dismantled the rest of the H.P bike put it in the loft of his mothers council house and re-assembled it there. When the repo men came as he hadn't kept up with the payments he told them where it was and they could keep it.

For all I know it is probably still there.

Jesus Fucken Chroist.

I’d suck the fart of my own mother’s arse just to take this for a daytrip to Jaywick.

Please someone buy it. Now.

I tried to buy that Ami Super, several times, about two years ago but the guy selling is worse than useless. After lots of back and forth I'd finally arranged to go and see it and was half way round the M25 when he texted me to say he couldn't actually make the appointment but I was welcome to back at another unspecified time in the future. After that I just gave up. Good luck to anyone who tries to buy it - I think its probably a really nice genuine car and not far off being usable.

I think he doesn't really want to sell it, but is just using the sale adverts as a way of determining value.

Is it me or is the front bumper bent one the one Raymond's driving? Also the drivers rear window doesn't fit very well.
