I was once a passenger in one, it didn't seem to have any suspension.

The prototypes had suspension.  They had to remove it from production cars because of this chap.

I can take or leave a Lagonda, but the Quattroporte III is one of the most desirable cars of all time. I'd have one over a QP I, even.

I doubt it's ever been much cheaper than this to buy a running sleeve valve motor, although it seems pretty noisy so perhaps there's disaster afoot. Wood though, even with the utterly horrid retrim.
