Come across this fella's fb group today.

He's got a warehouse with about 150 cars in along with a load of other crap.  All needs clearing.

Prices seem a bit salty but a lot of ford tax etc..

Stupidly he seems to have put out details of all the ones he can get out then has been inundated with enquiries about cars he cant yet sell..

Weird! You have to wonder at the logic some car companies come up with for marketing. How can we promote ourselves? TV advert, facebook campaign, maybe a 0% finance package for our customer? No lets make a single make pickup series of racing at great expensive no-one will ever see.

Anyway 9 grand seems alright for this although I'm not sure exactly what you'd do with it other than make high speed tip runs.

I was sitting in a dismal rainy queue for Heanor tip today, and through the railings I heard a lot of wheelspinning and turbo whistling sounds and one of these pickups came thundering past!!!! I actually disbelieved what I saw thinking 'who the hell would waste their time souping one of those ridiculous things up? I must have been mistaken' and lo and behold heres exactly what I saw. Amazing!!!!

If you stripped the livery off that and made it look like a beat up work truck that would be an awesome sleeper!

Stick either the Econoline or aerostar on lpg & they'll be better than the diesel vws on mpg too.

It would be hard to butcher the name of it any further. Its a Toyota Soarer, it would be a Lexus SC400 in other markets. Godammit.

mot check it - no idea what was going on there :D

He's made a rod for his own back there, the page and his mailbox will be swamped with idiots forever. No-one needs to know anything about any of that guff; drag the cars  out and photograph and sell them as they come, don't tell folk anything they don't need to know.

Bugger me sideways, it's a Comprex!!  One day one of these will come up that isn't both completely fucked and on the other side of the world.

For all the supercharging tech that Mazda poured into the 626 Comprex - and it was a lot  - they still only got 75hp out of it, and dog slow into the bargain. Interesting dead end, though.

....and as long as the ANC hold the reins of power, the Rand is likely to devalue even further.

Pile in now.

It looks very similar to the one dugong / alcyonecorporation wanted to buy from Buckie / Cullen area a couple of years ago. He was enlisting me to pick him up from Aberdeen airport, then it sold. :D

It's not unlikely that it moved all of about 40-50 miles in the intervening time.

If anyone is really interested in this Mazda comprex then i can assist with storage, lending tools and sucking of teeth.  It's close to me and an easy trip over back roads to a pre-booked MOT.

Was kind of half tempted and then read it was only 75hp which is the same as my Isuzu cavalier so while interesting seems kind of pointless.
