Meanwhile, a game of "spot the deliberate mistake" in Sainsbury's....

Had to get up for a maintenance task at work, so once complete I went out the dogs outside.

When they came back up into the deck they both started sniffing and fussing at the fence under the bench.

I went take a look why.

Ah okay. Very small angry possum. For scale, those are 5.75" wide planks. The baby ones like that are about the size of small rats. Mama wouldn't be far away though, they get to be about the size of cats when fully grown.

Glad they've moved back in. They like to eat fleas and ticks, which means fewer for the dogs. Possum are more welcome around here than armadillos are, for sure.

Despite the fact that one was just there, mouth open, hissing occasionally, they're kinda cute in an ugly-kitten sort of way.

Useless fact: They're North America's only native marsupial.

I really need to change my tob title to 'upsetter of purists' because, no matter the topic at hand, I've never failed to prompt some form of disapproval 😁

Genuinely love the fact that some old people don't like this. My work here is done.

To be fair, I did stir the pot a bit here, but the original post was another P6 with some fantastic looking alloys on.

'pretty lame'.

Touché.

Half an hour with a jack and wheel brace, some people cannot see it. I like a P6B with Rostyles and to be different I would fit MkII Jensen Interceptor half chrome if I had a P6 as they are a little wider with more rim dish. Two camps upset in 20 wheel nuts.  :grinning-smiley-043:

Pfft. It's your car, do what you want. At least you know how to use a full stop.

I like the wheels by the way🙂

Last month, in the grumpy thread, I wrote this.

Applying to renew my driving licence online (which I now have to do every five years due to being epileptic) I had to "prove my identity" by registering an online account with a Gov.uk approved company.  Choice was given as either Post Office or Digidentity, so I went with Post Office.  Put my details in and waited for the email with the access code to come through...nothing happened.  Application had to be completed within an hour of starting or would time out, so I went back and did it through Digidentity and that worked.

That was at about 1pm on Monday.  The confirmation email from Post Office arrived with me at 7:30pm on Tuesday. 🤦‍♂️

And now I've got to wait to see if the DVLA are going to actually do any work in the next two months.  Given that everything in the rest of my life is probably going to be cancelled, I think it might be easier just to give up driving.

As expected I heard nothing, and as my current licence was up on June 19th I began to resign myself to the fact I may have to stop driving by midsummer (an anxious overthinking mind does that to you).

Last weekend, I got home from working away to find a shiny new licence waiting for me having arrived on Saturday morning. :)

(Oh, and the Post Office code thingy I mentioned above?  I did the application at 1pm on Monday 12th.  The email from Post Office arrived at 7.30pm...on Tuesday 13th.  It appears the PO can now make an email take longer to arrive than a letter!)

My Sprinter went in for its first service yesterday (37500 miles) which is basically an oil and filter change, also while it was in they replaced the front pads and fitted the spare wheel to the rear.

Driving back to the dealer to collect it i guessed the bill would be about £375 tops.
