Thats great, I wonder if we can get them in the UK?

Checked and there are apparently several Norwegian online stores that sell this, but none ship abroad.

There are also more jumpers/sweaters than I thought, I like this one.

well, i'm now an air fryer wanker

been given this off a family member, bought it recently apparently and lost the receipt and didn't want it

Ninja Foodi MAX 9.5 Litre Dual Zone Air Fryer (AF400UK)

apparently ÂŁ200 worth of air fryer, cos i've just got the house they gave me it, still in the box and everything

i hate admitting this, but it's quite good

i'm happy with it though! it works really well and i'm staggered to be given something like that for free

so yes air fryer wanker, i see the appeal

Why did they reject it? We thought about one, but not convinced yet

apparently no room for it

i'm not convinced as an oven replacement but for quick chips, etc, it seems spot on, perfectly cooked some frozen chips in just under 10 minutes

It's not an oven replacement, it is an oven; specifically a small worktop fan oven. For someone on their own or a couple they make a lot of sense.

Youngest son has one that he loves, he works for Asda and got it on 'double discount day' so a big saving.

On elder son's recommendation I bought a Tower one from Argos, ÂŁ40, does what I need.

I saw (Big Clive pulled one to bits) that Asda have one for ÂŁ20.

I've never understood whey they're described as a fryer - as you say, it's just a fan oven that can heat up very quickly because of its size.

Presumably it's to appeal to a group of people who deep fry everything.  I don't know if that's meant to be poor people or Scottish people.

They are much better than fan oven at what they’re doing though because they’re way more directional, with better fan/surface ratio.

An interesting video if you’re a dullard like me, and want more in-depth how and why:

I quite like this even though he speaks American.

Can only listen in short bursts though.

Ours has a rotisserie attachment. Does a chicken or a small beef/ pork join superbly in about 1hr. Crispy outside , moist inside, far nicer than a big oven.

Had an air-fryer for years now, they're great... especially for oven chips. Got it from Costco for about ÂŁ80.

Before this chips weren't great out of the traditional oven and wouldn't have a deep fat fryer as they stink the house out.

I've taken an air fryer on my last few UK holidays in caravans or on holiday parks. Especially when you're too tight to pay for/unable to book a room with a kitchen and combined with a coolbox, they're brilliant.

Mine was a ÂŁ50 Costco special and the handles falling apart but it works really well. Here I am making bacon and sausage sarnies at Butlins a fortnight ago.

Feasibly, also "Worktop Fan Oven" isn't exactly mellifluous for advertising. Persuading people to buy them in place of the chip pan or deep fryer is an easier marketing job, especially with everyone wanting to reduce fat content for the last 40 years.

just made some home made chips in the air fryer

easily as good as deep fried i'm annoyed to admit

well, i'm just happy to have some appliances for once

I was doom scrolling fb earlier and half glanced at this and went "that's a fancy clutch... Why?"

Then looked at it properly

When your sons, aged 14 & 20, still give you a hug and say they love you when going to bed. Shit times, so little things help🙂
