Driving me Traaansit all over Scotland,  there's not much else to do but look out the window.. once you see something it's hard to unsee it.. volvo xc40 rear reflectors looks just like old trafficators..

And these new BYD things have sequential indicators, which go out and down. .. looks like the car's having a stroke..

And I'm really thinking the Citroen C3 Aircross is a very neat little car. 😯

My next door neighbours chopped in their increasingly battered 14 plate Swift a couple of months ago for a 6 month old regular C3 and I have to admit I keep looking across when I walk out of the house and thinking it looks quite smart.

My son who helps run a really decent RC shop dropped in last night with something for me to play with.

I'm not sure how he acquired it, possibly a part exchange as nowadays most RC stuff is battery operated so there's little demand for two stroke petrol goodness. It looks well made being fibre glass and has water cooling too.

I've been tasked with getting it running and he messaged me this morning to suggest I need to disable the drive system as he once lost his favourite T shirt to a high revving prop shaft when he got too close.

Ordered a pizza in order to try and fight the hangover with grease. Ordered a 10" and they've given me a 12"

The perks of knowing a couple of folk who work in the shop!

Bloody apprentices. No concentration,  apt to wandering off, don't listen and cover the inside of your van with hair and snot.  No wonder this country's in a mess...

I saw Miki Berenyi play live in Margate last night, she signed her book for me - after we had a brief chat about her dad's Ford Capri! (There's a story about her dad driving her from London to Hungary in it in the book)

Went to see a mate last night.  The route from mine to his is basically the coast road, so at this time of year I'm used to getting held up behind dawdling giffers going for fish & chips and twats in campers who have no idea how to drive anything bigger than a Picanto.

Last night was slightly different though, as I got stuck behind a badger.  I must have been sat behind it for a good half a mile as it lumbered along the road - it kept going to dart off into field entrances then thinking better of it and continuing along the tarmac.  Single track road so no way of getting past it.  Eventually the daft fucking thing found a field entrance it was happy with and got out of the way, but it was definitely a novel experience.

I have lofty ambitions of planting them in the park we live in - the council had to remove a load of storm damage trees recently

Posted

So they're doing weather themed songs and start talkjng about sctsch bands

Blue nile - tinseltown

Never heard them before

It sounds like 3 songs mixed together

To me anyway
