"Just opened the garage and a wasp nest has fallen on him and broken up"Β

Uh huh, is that so... That great big fuck off vacuum cleaner doesn't have anything to do with an attempt of removing them? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

"Fell on him and broke up" my arse πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Looks like some shitty tti upright, it probably wouldn't have enough suction to dislodge some fluff let alone deal with a wasps nest!Β

We have a big one in a tree near my house, been tempted to take the cordless Henry I have over to get rid of them but then I'd have to set fire to my cordless Henry afterwards... I've told Charlie to throw stones at it from far away

Eldest daughter had one in her garden shed.Β  Youngest (fearless) daughter steps into the shed, grabs it with both hands, steps out and heaves it into the bushes in the park over the garden fence.

Job jobbed!

I went out in the x1/9 this morning to the market in ascot. On leaving a small boy looked and pointed to his parents ( presumably not in disgust). So I popped the headlamps up in acknowledgment and his mouth dropped!Β
everyone needs a car with pop up headlamps.Β
my niece’s prefer the 2cv, and think the fiat too small, but I will indoctrinate them eventually.

Nephew started a welding appreticeship about 18 months ago. He seems to be doing quite well and he could come in useful in the future.

Does the 2CV fit on the bike rack with a bungee?Β πŸ™ƒ

Indeed. I’ve not got the bike on very well but was only going half a mile. Bungee is to stop the front wheel wagging around. Have had the carrier over twenty years from a Norwegian guy at a 2cv meeting.

Reminds me last night MrsFL & I went out our camper to have some food and a cuppa and to watch the world go by at a local beauty spot. Unfortunately the place became infested by roofs in various Ford's, VeeDubs and Aldi's with stupid pop & bang maps and stereos blasting but in amongst it all was a really smart looking Dyane Cote D'Azur which I think must be quite a rare beast now. Do you know of it @chaseracer?

I've justed watched one of my Christmas presents - G F Newman's 'Law & Order'. In 1978 it was just plain old 'Law & Order' but with the yank series and its UK ITV spin off it has become what it has...

I did it in one sitting. Fuggin masterpiece. 8)8)8)

Of course, I'll ultimately screengrab the relevant bit's for the thread. There are some.

This is currently on Iplayer and it is fuckin brilliant, it is rammed full of shite as you’d expectΒ

I am a big fan of G F Newman’s β€œThe Corrupted” radio serial and I bet I’m not alone on here, you can see the connections between the two, fantastic escapism.Β

I love the fact that your trailer board has 2CV lights on it.

Made that myself. I’m inordinately pleased with it!

Thunder and lightning have knocked out the power grid for several hours now and will take several more hours they say before it is fixed. Why am I writing this here? becuse I am prepared for things like this unlike most.Β When the power went out, I just went outside and started and connected the generator and it now runs the fridge, freezer etc.
