Superb!  And an automatic for even more misery!

I'm going to be the only person on the forum without any BL tat at this rate.

Step this way sir....

@HMC, was that the only BL tat for sale from wherever you obtained it from? I only ask because someone I know in North Devon has only today bought a very minty looking Maxi.

E-series auto.  Consult your calender before pulling away from T-junctions ?  I had the same in a regular Allegro; it did have a certain charm, although it acquired the name Uriah (think Dickens)...

I do like a VP Allegro, I'm now in the original target market for them (old git who would like a bit of comfy, but in a small car) see also Renault 5 Monaco

VDP Allegro.  Lovely lovely.  There's one around Ashford (Kent) that I used to see quite regularly.  Bizarre but with a charm all of its own.

There really ought to be some sort of warning before you drop content like that.  Even the IRA had the courtesy to "phone ahead".

Utterly brilliant.  I love @Six-cylinder's - I' spent hours just looking at it.  Stroking it. I'm enjoying "Life on Mars" again at the moment and there's a lot of Allegro content in there which has been getting me quite hot and bothered of an evening.

A great purchase.

He is a serial allegro collector, I’ll ask him if he was hoarding other BL stuff

I have always wantd a go in an AP automatic.

I have met a few people who wanted a go in an AP automatic.  I have yet to meet anyone who wanted a second go in an AP automatic.

It was him who under took the work on our VP, he sold us parts, everything Allegro is his bag.

Guilty, ours came with the Autobox broken and I found fixing it was a major challenge because of lack of parts. I took the opportunity to convert it to manual because of my experience driving AP box Minis and an 1100.

Is that different from a Minimatic?
