It will buff out.

new chassis and bulkhead should do it

I am surprised actually how good the bodywork is. I expected to see some rotten wheel arches.
But you can't see the rear. It could be hideous.

OK, so I'm guessing they're ally?
I really know fuck all about these, other than everyone one I've ever seen is rotten underneath.

Yeah, ally panels. The bulkhead and chassis are badly-protected steel and usually used in harsh conditions, hence why they rot like fuck underneath whilst looking completely presentable on top.

Reminds me of a Kevin Bridges story where he described Danny Dyer as the “prick’s prick”.

This 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial is chassis No.2 out of 13 and raced at the MM, Targa Florio and Imola.

It is planned to be auctioned by Sothebys at the Monterey auction this year.

The estimate? $1,200,000 - $1,600,000.

I can kinda understand not putting that in the crusher. Going to be about 10% original by the time it's restored though

Crash and fire damaged. It's ok though, as it comes with its original gearbox.

That car has an odd history, and the early (racing) history claimed for it is also claimed for other cars.

Some sources believe that 0406MD was rebodied in 1954 into an one-off Spyder by Scaglietti with the results mentioned below. Others claim these results for 0302TF and some regard 0404MD as the car in question. As a matter of fact 0406MD was rebodied by Scaglietti in the 50's. But this mysterious car appeared at the 12h of Casablance in December 1953 for the first time, and therefore too early to be 0404MD or 0406MD.

That Old No1 Bentley sounds like a right flipping case of new head, new handle. I bet there’s absolutely sod all left on it that was bolted to the car when it originally went down the production line.

A double reshelled RS Turbo that will never be right. The guy selling it as well... his general demeanour and lexicon would suggest it’s also bent as fuck.

How can you doubt such a honest* chap. Not a remote chance that it's a boggo scrote replica.
