Lazy spotters thread

That Trooper looks surprisingly solid from what we can see at least...most I've seen from that era abandoned in corners have giant holes in the doors and non existent arches.  Probably actually worth something to the right buyer if it's not a total rot box.

They're one of those vehicles which stick in my mind as ones I really liked when I worked at the garage but they've always been well outside my price range.

Not a spotted as such, more of a find whilst sorting out the house, a friend of my dad gave me these when I was about 6 or 7 (30 years ago 😬

I forgot I still had them!

My passenger took this shot of the beautiful Rover that pulled alongside us whilst I was sat out of gear with the handbrake on rolling a fag on the way home tonight

It looked properly mint.

"Out of gear with the handbrake on"; CORRECT! Sitting on the footbrake (& probably the clutch as well!) INCORRECT! The brake lights dazzle the driver of the car behind and in the event that you're "whacked from behind" your foot would be off the pedals and a disaster might occur!

I won't comment on your cigarette rolling activities, though..... 😉

Yea I don't do sitting on the brakes, never have and I agree with being dazzled by it from the front! Plus we were stopped for ages, and most other cars just sat with their foot on the brake 🙄 My current car has a dmf and I avoid sitting on the clutch as much as possible to prolong it's life 🤞

Bar an automatic laguna2 I had once where putting it into P set the auto handbrake. Which I didn't trust being renault so used to just sit in N on the brakes like a wanker so it didn't do the epb every set of lights 😂 (or n and no brakes of it was flat and I didn't roll)

No one gives a shit about the person behind they just sit there with brake jammed to the ground. It’s the norm rather than exception.

Or their car's got "auto hold" or similar...

The MOT history suggests about 120 miles covered since 2018. A shame.

Looks like theyve been trialling in it at some stage as dead ahead on steering wheel, and tow points all indicated

This is @HMClevels of dedication. Spotted near Grasmere.

Not the size difference next to the "sub compact" Moka.

That is because of this time of year the VSCC hold the Lakeland Trials. I was in The Lakes way back in 2011 and by accident came up the cars around Honister Pass.

The car is listed in this PDF https://www.vscc.co.uk/vsccMedia/32584.pdf

A photo from that day

Saw these two at Colsterworth on the A1 today. Both V6s. Must have been together for something
