I never realised that actually moved, I've only ever seen it on the front of the house with the truck thing on the road in front of it!

Spotted yesterday, because of ULEZ we never see these cars. This was the LE version which I thought might refer to an improved fuel injection system, but Google tells me was a Limited Edition version of about a 1000 cars, so even rarer ! Despite the slightly sagging front suspension, I couldn't help but notice the difference in height between the headlights to the moderns around it. No wonder so many people complain about dazzle.

Nope - both those names have stayed well under my radar - bit like 99% of the Chinese EVs I guess

Crikey! The right wheels, no rust on the front wings or the sills, AND it appears to be in daily use, doing the weekly shopping run! The owner must be a true Autoshiter!

Yes, I was secretly hoping it might be someone on here.

Late one based on the grill and the cat.

More surprising is that it appears to have the correct tailpipe fitted - those are made of near pure unobtanium.

I do miss mine, especially after I ditched that stupid carb for the TBi setup off a Niva.  I did get tired of the continual jokes at any gathering though.

Spotted these on my recent trip to California.

There's still tat everywhere, far too much to photograph, as I wouldn't get anywhere!

These few stood out,

The BMW was parked up on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. It's cool as! Apt number plate given that it has a had a rear end shunt.

Loved the SL, which was in Venice Beach. Appeared, despite the condition to be a daily driver.

I spotted the Jag a few years back in Venice Beach as it matched the one I was running back here at the time, it was a few doors down from where I was staying, it's still there.

As I was taking the photo of the Jaguar, an Eccentric old lady came out of the property opposite, got chatting to me about old cars, and then pressed her garage door opener to reveal this......

The SL and Jag XJS were just up the road.

Visited my friends up in Monterey, I stay in their 1987 Econoline 350 Camper whilst I'm there. It's absolutely mint, and really comfortable. My rental F150 can be seen to the right.

Dash Cam image. When leaving the scrappers I saw this yellow ex-security truck sitting up high.

There was also a Rover 45 in the customers area, but it had gone after I returned to my car to leave. No photo of that unfortunately.

Seen pics of this online, but didn't realise where it was until a different route to work took me past it.

Its looking quite very crusty now, there was an earlier Passat in use in E.Finchley right up to Covid times.

Saw a ford Scorpio estate in a Tesco's carpark but i didn't get an image, not because I'm lazy, but because i was changing my trousers.... Long story.

interesting MoT history too. Failed on quite a number of items in 2009 having been on-and-off for a few years, and then has sat there ever since?! I suppose at the time it would have been a 25 year old 'old banger' but then again that's how old my mondeo is today...

Yep, its been sat there that long, i took a snap of it 7-8 years ago when it didn't look too bad, but its beyond help now i suspect, I used to see quite a few bangers in that area, OAPs keeping them going, but post COVID and now ULEZ has killed most of them!

I recently drove around Archway, an area I lived in for about 10 years, which used to be full of old stuff - within half a mile from my house there were three K10 Micras, a C-reg BMW in white with galloping rot, at least one Cavalier, a Dolomite, Mk1 Mondeo, Mk4 Escort, Mk5 Escort van, Combo van, Laguna, a very unusual Fiat saloon, and many more I'll have forgotten about... which pretty much all sat there and seldom moved. Sadly on my trip I passed several of the sites and none to be seen anymore.

I lived in Archway in the mid to late 90s, always liked that area, here's a Bedford that lives near the station, but yep most of the other long term residents are gone but i think the yellow Escort Convertible is still around too.
