puddlethumper Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 I should know what this is but I've forgotten. Aston Martin 1
sutty2006 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Morris Ital spotted today. A very tidy one at that. mercrocker, michael t, Paul Dupart and 6 others 9
MorrisItalSLX Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 I should know what this is but I've forgotten. DSC00183.JPGDSC00184.JPG Subaru SVX - I only remembered because the number plate reminded me!
Yoss Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Interesting 'repair' . I can see both Philips and slotted self tappers and small bolts, or they could be those bolt headed self tappers. Makes you wonder what's underneath. strangeangel and Aston Martin 2
mitsisigma01 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Is this a real thing or just a badged over bodge michael t 1
Floatylight Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Few spots while out and about the last few days, some lovely motors, particularly like the 416Gti Tourer and the shonky Maestro.. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk RobT, Datsuncog, danthecapriman and 2 others 5
HillmanImp Posted April 13, 2019 Author Posted April 13, 2019 Went to the Porsche garage today (got corrected by the receptionist that its actually "Porsche-a"). Loads of old Porsches there. Look what takes prize of place out the back in bits. RobT, jumpingjehovahs and Aston Martin 3
Inspector Morose Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Let's lower the tone slightly. How about a licence built early LandRover. On rails. Powered by a Deutz air cooled diesel. Oh, go on then. Yoss, Aston Martin, strangeangel and 5 others 8
beko1987 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Went on an Easter egg hunt in my dad's little village earlier, and saw some spots! The 405 looked lovely! Cardinal Wolseley, strangeangel, danthecapriman and 3 others 6
Amishtat Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Nice to see an example looking like its owner gives a shit . I liked these all the more after the similarly-hued example which just laughed at the Top Gear fuckwits' attempts to kill it. "That the best you got m8? Come back when you grow a pair" mitsisigma01 1
Pillock Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Went to the Great Central Railway today, for a diesel gala. Importantly, nothing to do with classic cars. These were in the carpark as I arrived. The Cavalier especially is quite a strong look for a daily driver! Had a police radio and radio handset installed too, although it didn't look like an original police car (surely they were using Senators, not Cav SRIs) jumpingjehovahs, danthecapriman, sutty2006 and 3 others 6
strangeangel Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 This made me smile: Is the Commer a Jennings conversion? LightBulbFun, Cardinal Wolseley, davocano and 3 others 6
strangeangel Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Upullmeoff had this. At least two 'shiters cars are now wearing bits of that BX
Dinkeridge Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Stunning condition in Hackney davocano, Amishtat, michael t and 4 others 7
UltraWomble Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Not exactly shite - but have 3 Land Rover Deafener Mules stuck in traffic on the M6 this morning
Aston Martin Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 I'm scanning through rmsotherbys last auction and whoever specced this 911 is a hero. Imagine grabbing that big purple knob... https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/es19/essen/lots/r0157-1991-porsche-911-turbo-33/754825 michael t, Amishtat, HillmanImp and 5 others 8
Tadhg Tiogar Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 ..... Imagine grabbing that big purple knob....You don't know how close I was to spitting my tea over the keyboard on reading that... Aston Martin 1
Pillock Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Can only imagine how that conversation in a dealer went. "... and a purple interior please""Certainly, how about black trim with the centre part of the seat in purple?" "No, all of it.""All of it, Sir?""Everything""Dashboard?""Purple.""Carpet?""Purple""Knob""Purple""That last one was an observation, sir" Paul Dupart, mitsisigma01, Amishtat and 7 others 10
mitsisigma01 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Nice to see an example looking like its owner gives a shit . I liked these all the more after the similarly-hued example which just laughed at the Top Gear fuckwits' attempts to kill it. "That the best you got m8? Come back when you grow a pair" IMG_20190414_132526.jpgIs there any shifters on here with old pick ups, toying with the idea of getting an 02 b2500
rusty998 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Some West London spots danthecapriman, Datsuncog, Cardinal Wolseley and 4 others 7
straightSix Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Seen this a few times now, and it's actually in better condition than last time I saw it. And I'm actually really jealousExcuse the terrible quality of these spots:
chodweaver Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 I'll see your potato cam pic of a dailied R8 and raise you a 205. Sent from my BV6000 using Tapatalk
chodweaver Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 ...and a very sad looking 213... Sent from my BV6000 using Tapatalk
chodweaver Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 But this driveway-of-shame is my last offering for tonight. Rest assured that the level of mouldiness is most definitely as bad, if not worse than what you are imagining. I drive past these vehicular Petri dishes at speed, with the windows up and the HVAC on recirculate... Sent from my BV6000 using Tapatalk
Snipes Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 You need to breathe that stuff in deep as anyone with that drive is clearly on to a winner.
anonymous user Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Seen today outside Greggs, very nice, unrestored low mileage example. Aston Martin, HillmanImp, Amishtat and 8 others 11
