It is something you don't read a lot about in this Covid era. There wer always stories in the military when guys in the queue for a vax would pass out. Did they give it to you before you were compos mentis?

I was fully awake when they gave it to me - I passed out immediately afterwards, apparently it's due to the sudden drop in heart rate when the source of anxiety is taken away.

Ordered a front wheel and a saddle from chain reaction. What arrived today? The saddle.

Had no time to submit a complaint as I had to head to the black circles appointment that was delayed from yesterday for no reason that the garage can fathom because the tyres arrived yesterday.

When did it all go to shit?

 

EDIT: Never mind, the wheel turned up while I was getting the tyres on the car done. Luckily the courier got into the block and left it in the hallway in front of my flat.

Edit: appears the right hand window defog tube may have fallen off. Need to look at that.

Not really a grump as such because it's not as stupid as some of the new words people use, but we seem to have a new car-related word in the English language. "FRUNK"

Obviously from the USofA, a  portmanteau of 'front' and 'trunk' used to describe the extra luggage space in an EV where the engine would be if it had one. Never heard the one in the VW 411 described that way but hey...
