So after cancelling stupid high bids to try and get a legit buyer on eBay, no contact from the apparently legitimate buyer 5 hours after the auction ended. Now I might be being a bit premature, but since he put his bid in 30 seconds before it ended you’d think he’d be online to arrange collection.

So probably another ‘sale’ going south. Seriously, if you don’t want to buy something just don’t fucking bid, it’s that simple! I’m not holding a gun to your head...yet..

Two of them massive yellow salt shakers passed my house this evening, discharging their load at full pelt, despite it's bone dry and plus 2 degrees.

The fans didn't work either so it was bastard cold. Got to work and smacked the bottom of the dash a few times and they came to life, keep an eye on that...

Fucking arse. Just booted a football up the garden to get it out of the way and because I'm a dick.

Of course it went straight into mini Shrimps plastic sand/water table and smashed the leg off, he's going to be proper upset.

Seems they don't sell them now so just out a bid on a replacement on ebay... I'm such a wanker :-)

What glues best for plastic. I know super glue won't hold it.

I keep seeing references to plastic welding. Might be time to buy some new technology in, all in the name of parenting, of course...

I bought some 2 part epoxy off eBay that’s great . it’s currently successfully holding my shed to the ground I used it to glue threaded bar into concrete.

Engines, axles and Electric Wheelchairs hold my shed to the ground.

Has your shed no floor?

Call You Wanker!

Hot air gun and some similar plastic. I last had to do it to the wheelie bin because fat cunt here gets charged per lift and not by weight.

(Standing in the bin to compact it put a big split up the back of it and a modest fee on some plastic rods was cheaper than a humping from the bin co.)

Those tables are shit. One week of UV brittles the plastic.

^^sounds good but also more than a new* table. Bid on one on ebay at £5.

I do think it's gone brittle in the sun though as it's changed colour over the last year. Still would have lasted longer had I not kicked a ball at it!

Yes no floor . It’s a cheapo eBay tin shed with distinct warnings in the assembly instructions about it blowing away.

It looks like my Disco 300 TDi has finally reached the departure lounge... the rear arches have finally succumbed to ferrous oxide, and there are too many other faults with the car to justify another weldathon. If its body was perfect I'd probably bite the bullet & sort it out, but it's covered in scratches, dings and peeling lacquer.

Still, I got 6 very enjoyable years out of it. And it's still MOT'd until next September so I've got plenty of time to find a replacement.

Hmm, certified performance, for a Renault that is two weeks, isn't it?

Up early this morning (0430) to drive the 120ish miles south to work for the week, by 0500 I'm de-icing the car thinking that I'm making alright time here and depending on traffic, I may even get to work quick enough to have a nap before 0800.

Car de-iced, bag loaded and I'm getting out of the driveway - happy days. Put both the front windows down to get rid of the excess water, windows go down. Try to put them back up because it's bloody freezing and LOL NOPE. Bloody fuse has blown and I recently moved my spare fuses out of the car. So I have to turn off the car, unlock the house, get the shed keys, unlock the shed and try and find the bloody fuses. Fuses retrieved, and after fumbling around due to frozen hands I finally get the fuse out to see that it's actually totally fine and intact! So I'm frantically checking the rest of the fusebox to see if there's one I missed, and eventually locate one that's popped. After a few more minutes of numb fumbling, I eventually get it swapped over and the windows go back up.

A minute later, they didn't go back down again. Given the temperature, that was actually okay with me. I'll get back to the car on Thursday, the spare fuses sat on top of the dashboard as a reminder.

I didn't get a nap.

Battery knackered? The fan not working thing is normal on the Laguna. If the battery voltage sags too low, it disables the fan and won't restart until power cycled with a higher voltage. Annoying but its a good indicator when your battery is on its way out.

Its the first time the fans never worked, and ive killed the battery before a few times. I'm sure it'll be fine! When my puma's battery died it just needed a jump if not used all weekend.

Ecp do them for £50 with whatever code so that's easily sorted when I get £50!

Odd how I had to smack the dash though to fire them up. But then I'd driven 30 miles so that may have helped

The results are in: I'm knackered. The man with the shotgun is coming shortly to fire one through the skull and end the misery!

My blood appears to be about as useful in a body as Asda 20w50 that's done 100K in a diesel ZX is for lubricating.

Given your location I presume that is approximately south and not exactly to the compass bearing.

Because it's Swedish Turbo with the turning circle of a barge!

Cock indeed. Don't know what else to say really.

But that applies to everyone I guess.
