The grumpy thread

I haven't welcomed anyone, but this random tit for tat is annoying. What forums has he been banned from then? We can't just go banning people because they've been banned elsewhere!

I got kicked off the vacuumland forum for 30 days 3 years ago for calling some kid who bid a turbopower 2 autosense (a rare one) up to £380 then didn't pay a stupid little cunt. Should I gently close the door so the filler doesn't fall out on the way out?

Yes I see no actual content from the guy bar a fairly poor spotted thread, but generally I've not noticed him at all on the forum bar whwn you two argue in every thread

But surely just not rising to it, and letting him look like the dick by throwing one way insults your way will very quickly be noticed, then we can all jump on him. At the moment it's like an episode of Tom and Jerry, just with no funny bits, like when they cut the smoking scenes out of the modern re runs

I would have joined the vacuumland forum too.

But I hear it sucks.

Go through my posts (if you're that bored) and you can see on numerous occasions I've basically told him to not talk to me. I spelled it out to him recently, he just responded by trying to make digs at me without speaking to me directly. He's also trying to be personal now, which is just great - but he's still here, because we just sit here and let people shit all over the place.

By the way, if you wonder why I keep quoting him it's because he also makes offensive comments to people to goad them into a response, then edits his reply out - I know for a fact I'm not the only person he's done that to and I think somebody reported him to the mods over it in their case.

Still, let's tolerate him, what a fantastic contributor he is and clearly of sound mental being.

Why dont you just use ignore function, then jou wont see his posts at all

Best thing is if both of them set each other to ignore.

Had a bit of a close call on the way back from work today:

Really can't understand why they pulled out, as there was good visibility, and we had lights on. Only think I can think is that he saw the BMW pulling out, realised we'd have to brake for them, and figured there was room for another car to pull out!

You should look into setting the time and date on your camera, sir. Might be useful in proving the time and date of any incident you may encounter (one hopes not, of course!). I know the GPS tags will cover that, but it can be spotty.

Had some blind bellend pull out of a side road on me earlier while at work actually (luckily I was only doing 20mph or so, it was a residential area). Rather than slam the brakes on I simply steered around behind him and the twat shouted "Fucking idiot" out of the window at me for my trouble. Er, okay then. I think it's the hot weather lately that's making people more angry and stressed, I've seen a lot of hot-headed drivers on the road recently.

Blimey that was close, good quality video by the way. What camera are you using out of interest?

'I've got a really small tattoo (that looks suspiciously like someone's just drawn it on with a pen) can you fix it for me by putting something 375,000 times bigger over it so I can go on telly and get a free cover up?

Green "P" plate in the back window... Probably assumed the coast was clear as the car in front pulled out, or could be following the car in front and didn't want to get separated?

I had a woman pull out of a junction right in front of me when I was driving my bright yellow Dolomite, that was a proper "Lock all 4 wheels under braking and then spin the steering wheel violently to avoid impact" moment. Very nearly took off the front of her car!

People would stop going on that show if the tattoo upgrades were administered by Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen in the same manner as he fucked up peoples living rooms in the '90s.

Zebra crossings!!   People just driving on while you stand there like a lemon. Yesterday an old 740 estate saw me at the crossing but drove on anyway (its actually in my spotting thread somewhere E*** HAR) but benefit of the doubt, then the new Honda following him also went, well fuck that. I am usually laid back but reacted and wacked the car with my paper as he looked right at me as I was on the actual zebra crossing!!

Frustration follows as last week my 89 year old grandad was knocked down on a zebra crossing and now has a broken pelvis. It was a luton van driven by a Romanian guy who we think was on his phone. Police are involved and he is due in court to answer allegations of dangerous driving.

With today's mentality of 'I am so busy and in such a rush' I actually find it safer crossing the road where there is no crossing, as the average pillock seems to speed up and hurry across a zebra crossing these days.  Guess it sets them back all of 20 seconds to pay attention and stop???  Daft cnuts.

Ordered a pair of tyres for my PT CRUISER and UK mail have lost them. The driver tried to deliver them yesterday and apparently left a card (he didn't, I was working in the front garden all day and nobody turned up) and although they were apparently out for delivery again today they are now showing as delayed, which I think really means lost.

I was hoping to get the CRUISER MOT'd this week too!

Good reactions Mat, but fair play to you for not slamming on and road raging them, it looks like an innocent mistake by a new driver.

I can join this club!  On the way back from the shops a doom blue estate pulled out in front of me.  The driver had checked the road was clear to her left, but not to her right where I was.  No big drama as it was all 20mph or so and room to get around her but it was a bit surprising being just a few yards from the house.  Must be a day for it.

I drive this. You will be surprised how many folk pull out on it and say I didn't see you. I had a chap pull out on a island causing me to slam on the brakes. He then wound down the window and said "and you can fuck off you big yellow cunt" not like its a small van in a plain colour either

The BMW of much trustyness is annoying me this week

One of the front wishbone lollipop bushes has shat itself meaning motorway cruising is limited to an indicated 75 mph before the shakes set in.

a coil pack is playing up giving intermittent 5 cylinder running.

And, this morning, the lens cover for the left hand rear reversing/fog light lens cover fell off after closing the boot lid ffs :angry008:

GR5.3 coz I am 200 miles from repair facilities until Saturday
