reminds me of an old mate I caught up with a few weeks ago, must go and visit again, he had been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer after being airlifted to hospital after collapsing on a hike,

He said the specialist said there was nothing they could do and he was given a month to live, that was now two years ago, not saying that will happen but may offer a glimmer of hope.
