private parking companies!.. after council changed name 3 times..and the parking companies also changing with them, each newcomer thinks they will flex their muscles by writing tickets for cars parked in bays they shouldn't be in...fair enough... until a family friend of mine has had 3 tickets for parking in a bay even though it was a visitors bay and she had a valid scratch card for each day...eventually things come to a head and council guy comes around to house to see what i was ranting about over the phone... so i show him (A) the visitors parking bays.... ( all the bays have not had a lick of paint since the day it opened in 2001 and numbers have long since worn away.. and © the parking warning signs displayed are from the original company and the original housing association that was in office when the houses were built and display a now defunct phone number! so after he sees all this he puts in an order for the bays all to be repainted and new signage put up.... guys come round stick some stickers with the small writing T&C's on it and thats it...still original council name and number on signs... then we all get a letter to park on the main road between 7am last monday to 7am on the tuesday as they will be repainting all the parking bays... tuesday evening still not painted..i call them on wednesday..he goes and makes a few calls to check what happened... they had only gone and painted the bays in some other car park!...ffs you couldn't make it up...so as of today 2 weeks later..the bays are still unpainted and parking is chaos even for us that buys yearly parking permits hmmmph.

i saw these yesterday outside a garage i was at... yank thing is a chevrolet apache next to a range rover... landy i think belongs to a rambo wannabe..the jag has the private plate of the name of the garage on it. pics will folow as soon as i remember how to upload them lol
