The grumpy thread

Right, Am I the only dick who does not know what is going on with this brands hatch jobbie? From what I can make out on this thread is that he's been a dick with his slapper and decided to scare her shxtless and drive on to the track in the middle of a race. He also has no concern for his/his slappers/ or the gentleman & ladies racers lives. Does this sum it up? Also is there an easy link to watch this buffoon ( sorry being lazy here!)?

My thoughts exactly, as far as I've been able to piece the story together from the comments here.  So I had a look on Facebook for "Full Throttle Cottle" as billed above.  Yes, he's there, complete with loads of pics of him and his mates, and rather a lot of supportive comments.  There's also about half a minute of footage of him circulating with the race cars.  He says he was keeping right, out of their way, but who's he to know every inch of the racing lines around Brands, or any other circuit?  Calling him "buffoon" and even "dick" is being much too generous.

Trying to find somewhere to get breakfast at about 7.45-8am on Sunday, in Stamford. Nowhere is open until 10 except ruddy McDonalds. Oh for a proper greasy spoon with sign up banning Joules clothing.

What about the Stibbington diner, about 8 miles south of Stamford on the old A1?

A steep welding learning curve awaits.....

My neighbour who owns loads of old cars and is handy with a mig says cut your losses and bridge it..... Which I'm not going to do, he just sees a rusty piece of crap where I see an old motor needing TLC

Ok. That makes me feel a little better! It looks like Philibusmo is in for some weldathon competition...

Mind you, at least you're prepared to have a go yourself!

There must be a Little Chef or OK Diner on the A1 somewhere near Stamford.

EDIT: M'Coli's suggestion above sounds like an even better bet

Gregg's. There must be a gregg's. Two quid for a coffee and bacon roll which is cheap enough to buy three.

yahoo's investment program in making yahoomail unusable had finally paid off. Sure they made the interface shit, made it virtually impossible to read any emails and injected adverts into your emails but now it constantly asks me to change my password and give it a telephone number to the point now it's totally fucked and I can't log in.

I told facebook and I'm telling yahoo FUCK OFF I'm not giving you my number you twats you just want to sell it belgeze double glazing sales terrorists.

I think the next time they ask me for my number I might just give them one for Yahoo's head office or something.

Brookjm good luck!

Take your time and think how you'll form panels a bit at a time, and you should be okay.

*Brookjm good luck!

Take your time to swear at it copiously. Make sure that you remove all the rusty metal from the area or it will be a pain to weld - then spend ages forming and cutting your repair panel until it fits the gap just perfectly. Then begin welding it in, find it doesn't fit at all and twat it with a hammer until it is suitably adjusted and does fit.

As you're not to far from me, let me know if you want a hand or any welding advise.

Ta fellas - in fact Stibbington is a regular haunt of mine. To explain properly, on Sunday I'm off to a festival/carnival thingy in town with the traction engine hence trying to find somewhere in the town centre. I'll put a pic up of us monging it up with in the Maccy D's car park at silly o'clock.

OK diner is on the a1 by Grantham I think. Dad takes me there often for a massive breakfast. His office girl used to work there until he pinched her as he was impressed with her cs skills.

My puma came from her other half so he could pay to fix her car, dad was keen to pay for it for me!

There's one at Tickencote as well just north of Stamford.

According to UKIP it's unnatural and caused the flooding in Somerset.

Too right about Yahoo and its shitness. There's a reason I'm slowly transferring to Gmail.

I quite like Yahoo. I spend my time looking for stories without spelling mistakes and no grammatical errors. In the 8 years I've used Yahoo I've yet to succeed in my goal!

What's wrong with a shovel in the firebox?

I have done this before, it looks very romantic on TV or on the railways.

What usually happens for me is...

Clean off the shovel

Find it's so pitted there isn't much chance of being remotely hygienic. Think YOLO and carry on

Small engine so the shovel can only take 2 or 3 decent rashes of bacon. We have a hungary crew

Crouch down on the tiny footplate and lay the shovel in, burning my wrist on one or other of the water gauges in the process

Keep an eye on the bacon noticing my carefully prepared fire in the diddy fussy firebox is not enjoying all the top air from the open door

When I think it is done stand up, trying to keep the shovel level (unsuccessfully). Drop fat/bacon everywhere

Dinner will be cooked in the smokebox however

I knew a girl in an office who had great "CS" skills.

Sigh.

Didn't office girls used to be Tax deductable? i.e. they came under office furniture!

Won a set of MGF wheels and decent'ish tyres last night, just under £18. Plus I only need to collect them from Herts. I am hoping that the ebay seller will actually get in touch following my PP payment and contact email. This could be a pre-emptive grump or could get cut and pasted to the other thread. Who knows  :-D

Maybe that's why it won't start!

I've been quite unwell recently, nothing serious just wearysome.

Any way my mum decided to clean my house for me while i was at work ( i rent it off her ) as a surprise.

Cue me coming home to find nothing where i have left it, and my middle aged mother informing me "i've even organised your porn!"

I nearly died of shame, damn my catholic upbringing.

You still have porn? You have posting this on a forum which is online. I hear that's the modern way to view porn, especially on Bing.
