I'd like to make a complaint.

I can't connect to the site with my new phone.

It's 12 years old, so I'd have expected you to have got the site working on it by now.

This place isn't what it used to be you know.

Yes, does this to me on Safari too. Hopefully something which will be sorted whenever we get the next update, seems like a slight bug in the software to me.

Lucky you getting long messages. That would require some tweaking behind the scenes, but can take it into account next time someone is under the bonnet.

Some of the 'Ask a Shiter' non-car-related questions have moved to the Open Forum - I can't find them again. The old 'Ask' mix of motoring and non-motoring questions seemed to work well - one did not overwhelm the other...

Could there be a questions section on the Open Forum to keep all these together? I have found the 'Ask' section really useful in the past...

PS does this have anything to do with Charles moving out of Clarence House? 😆

I've just been signed out on my desktop Firefox and it's completely broken.

Trying to log in gets "oops, something went wrong!" with error code 25119/1

 

It won't even display the contact us page properly.

 

It seems Android still works.

 

EDIT: Ignore me, broke my cookie settings. Back in now.

Had an interesting glitch pop up a few times recently when uploading images over the last week or so.  Looks like the upload is dropping out partway through the process.

...In fact it just happened now when uploading the screenshot.

This is what I was trying to upload.

I've only witnessed it on Android so far as that's where 98% of my usage is from.  Anyone else come across this?

I'm having real trouble uploading images too, it's really hit and miss - and about 90% fail at that. Usually just get a coloured field instead of the actual pic, usually black or blue, but sometimes white. I suspect in my case it's at least partly a shitty data signal causing something to time out.

This is happening on both my mobile phone (running Chrome) and my laptop (running MS Edge) so I don't think it's just my device acting up.

Same here, started yesterday. Thought it was my phone having a moment and just resorted to Flickr links as all my pics upload automatically - but I don't especially want to keep every single image just because I snapped something for the forum

Ah, I just spent fifteen minutes swearing at the computer trying to attach a non-image file and was getting the same error - checking now that does appear to be affecting all uploads.

I'm getting this too. Was able to link pictures through Flickr but that was it.

It's happening both on the forum and within the personal messenger.

Edit - running on Windows 10 and 11, both using the newest available Chrome browser.

This is happening on Firefox and on the iPhone. Also seems to be an issue regardless of format. GIF, JPG, JPEG, Crayons, etc.

I've had the same problem trying to load .... Even just loading a picture from the camera phone through to Google pictures on the phone is slow ....about 18 hours !!!
