Also, this October 1980 edition, covers a bit tatty, otherwise good.

I literally couldn't give it away on the shitecycle thread - yours for the cost of postage - only 40p if posted with the above, or £1.26 posted on its own.

I think I’ve posted these before but can’t find it. Anyway, last year or so when he was having a clearout after my grandmother died my grandad found these gaskets.

He gave them to me as he thought I’d be able to find a home for them. I found them again yesterday as I was doing an annual shred of paperwork ( plus that seafrance find!). Anyway, neither he nor I know whether they’re for a bike or car or indeed what make. He was going to do some more digging on where he got them and for what but sadly died suddenly a month or so ago.

I’d love to know, if anyone can help, and if anyone wants them I’ll put them in an envelope tomorrow FOC.

Thanks,

R.

I'd love to know what they fit. Got a feeling they aren't BMW 120d inlet manifold gaskets though.

Whatever it is will very likely be pre 1970. Could well be 1950s. He had a mix of bikes and cars then ( born 1933) including a very nice looking Ford V8, but when he married my grandmother in ‘76 he wasn’t messing about as much.

All paper by the way, not cork.

As can be seen, they have tyres, although two of them are starting to perish / crack at the outer edge of the tread.

All tyres are 205/55/R16

Located in Aberdeen, does £50 sound about fair? Had the usual fuckwits crawling out of the woodwork on gumtree and I'm just fed up with them.

The other option; can anybody near Aberdeen remove the tyres for me so I can just weigh them in?

My guess starting on the left & going clockwise -

Inlet manifolds on an old Triumph or Thermostat housing

Waterpump

Waterpump

Rocker box

Pass?

Twin choke carb like XR3s, but sounds too new for your suggested times

No idea what off mind.

I am suffering a bout of mojo loss, and so will try this here.

I haven't visited my Datsun for any work lately, and it isn't going to move along on it's own.

I don't have any "car mates" locally to help me and it along and so I fear it would be better for the car to find a new home.

It runs nicely now, I've replaced some of the brake lines and have had new braided hoses made up for the flexies.

It needs the front wing returns, heal boards and rear arches seeing to.

I have a lot of panels with the car and have had the front wings blasted and painted.

This is it before I started work on it:

This is closer to current state:

There are a lot of spare parts and a set of newer tyres to go on the wheels fitted included.

Please pm me if you are seriously interested.

These are the business, if I didn't already have one I'd be all over this. Anyone interested get it, they are heavy but solid bits of kit and mightily powerful.

Looks practically new, bargain too. If I didn't already have one I would be all over that.

Impact wrench has hardly been used. Box has a few marks and something has dripped on it but it still protects the contents so is doing it's job!

Only selling as I've lost my job. Don't want to sell it but a few bits going will ease my money worries very slightly. Already sold some bike bits etc on eBay and got about £100. Not a lot but it's helping.

ETA: I've not listed this on ebay. Anything I think may be of interest will be listed here first, with shiters discount applied.

I'll take the wrench please

Have had a PM about it, but you've got next dibs if it doesn't go through :-)
